Arlington News and Events Church Family The Fellowship Hall is CLOSED until further notice. Your cooperation in this matter is greatly appreciated. Church Family We are in need of help in the Nursery on Wednesday and Sunday Nights. Please see Carol Griffin for more information. Walk and Stretch Group We will be taking a break during the holidays and the group will resume on January 8th. Church Family There will be No Evening services on December 23rd or December 26th The Church Office will be closed December 24th and December 25th. And will re-open on December 26th. Lottie Moon Offering Just a reminder that we will be taking up the Lottie Moon offering beginning today. Goal is $17,000.00 Lottie Moon is an Offering for International Missions. Nativity Planning Meeting If you are interested in helping plan a Nativity for 2019 please come to an interest meeting at 5:30 pm Dec 9th. We will meeting in the sanctuary briefly.

Arlington News and Events contd. Widow s Fellowship Nativity Walk-Through at First Baptist Church December 14th (Friday) We will meet at the Church at 5:00pm Dinner at Moe and D s. (Please bring a pair of socks for exchange) Parent's Night Out / Children's Christmas Party Friday, December 14th from 6:00PM-9:00PM ABC Ministry Center Parents of children ages 3 through 5th grade are invited to enjoy a night of Christmas shopping, dinner and a movie, a quiet nap or whatever you would like to do while your children enjoy a Christmas party with their friends! We will have dinner, games, crafts, and sweet treats for the children. Children attending should bring a $5 wrapped gift for a child of the same gender for a gift exchange. Please sign up so that we will know how many we need to plan for. There is a sign-up sheet on the Children/Youth bulletin board. If you have any questions, please see Stacie. Church-wide Caroling Church family anyone interested in going Caroling, we will be going on December 16th at 6:00pm After caroling we will come back to the church for refreshments. There will be No Services, or children/ youth activities that night, as everyone is invited to come join us! Luke 2 Challenge The purpose of the Luke 2 challenge is to encourage individuals and families to make the celebration of the Birth of Christ the center of Christmas Day. We will have a Luke 2 challenge sheet for you to sign and place on the alter to commit to worshipping through the reading of God s Word, Luke 2:1-20, and praying before the beginning any Christmas Morning activities.

Church Family We want to thank everyone who participated in the White Christmas gift collection. The church was able to donate a 132 gifts to the Your Choice Pregnancy Center. Food Pantry Church family please remember our Food Pantry. We are currently in need of, canned vegetables, powdered or boxed milk, cereal, canned meats, pasta Thanks for your help with this ministry. Youth Christmas Party There is a Youth Christmas Party on Dec. 19th at 6:30pm In the Youth room.
