It was huge success and the children had a wonderful time. To Toni Benhaim who donated the four new Chalices to the Church. These beautiful Chalices are in memory of David Benhaim, Rose and Anthony Pasquarello, Barbara Milane and Roseann Priestley. St. Anselm s is so grateful for such a generous gift. CHRISTMAS FLOWER AND DECORATION DONATIONS Donations toward our Christmas flowers and decorations can be made by using the envelopes provided to you in your monthly envelope packets or by using the envelopes at the church entrances. CHRISTMAS PAGEANT REHEARSAL Sunday, Dec. 9th, and 16th after Mass Pageant will be on Sunday, Dec. 23rd after Mass. The prayer shawl ministry creates and distributes prayer shawls and lap robes to those who are seriously ill and for people who have lost a loved one. Baby blankets are given at the time of the Baptism. Recipients are parishioners, family and friends who are in need of prayer and caring. All are welcome to be a part of this wonderful ministry. PARISH CATHOLIC APPEAL COORDINATOR VOLUNTEER Help Wanted - Annually St Anselm participates in the Archdiocese's Catholic Appeal. We are seeking a volunteer to coordinate next year's campaign at our church. The Catholic Appeal is an annual plea for funds to support ministries, vocations, social services, and needy parishes as well as other Archdiocesan activities. St Anselm has a long history of responding in a leadership way to the campaign. We are looking for a volunteer to coordinate this year's activities. The coordinator is asked to attend a two hour training session and lead the Campaign kick off and in-pew pledge weekends which will be February 23-24 and March 2-3 next year. If you would like additional information or can help by volunteering please contact the rectory. WINTER CLOTHING DRIVE FOR ST. FRANCIS HOUSE The 10 th grade confirmation class is once again sponsoring a winter clothing drive for St Francis House in Boston. St Francis House provides day shelter and other programs for poor and homeless adults in downtown Boston. Please bring any donations of clothing to St Anselm church and place them in the boxes near the entrances. The boxes will be in place from December 8 until January 6. The items with highest needs: Winter coats (gently used okay) Winter thermals (gently used okay) Sweatshirts and hoodies (gently used okay) Hats, gloves, scarves, and socks (new items only, for these four cases) Thanks in advance from the confirmation class, and from the people of St Francis House.
