As we all know, building projects take money, and again we need to appeal to your generosity; to help build a new life for our neighbors in need. There are families you see every day that struggle to put food on their table and to maintain a home that is warm and dry. Like some of us, they worry everyday whether or not their car will work, and if their job hours will be cut. You can help these fellow citizens of God s Kingdom, by supporting them with your charitable offerings. SVdP will make sure your help will get to the right project at the right time. Thank You & God Bless You! ~ Paul Novotny

REMEMBER: COFFEE & DONUTS THIS SUNDAY AFTER THE 10:00am MASS! Dear Parish Family & Friends, PRAISE BE JESUS CHRIST OUR KING! NOW AND FOREVER! AMEN! Today we celebrate the solemnity of Christ the King, acknowledging that Jesus Christ is above all temporal rulers, past, present, and future. We also recognize that Jesus Christ should reign in our lives, guiding us in our thoughts, our decisions, and our conduct. In all the universe, in all the world, in all of our nation, in all of our parish and community, and in our own hearts, Jesus Christ is Lord and King! The Word of God Reigns in Our Hearts: We will spend the next several minutes listening to the word of the Lord. Though Scripture was written by different types of human authors storytellers, prophets, psalmists, letter writers, evangelists, and in different literary forms historical narratives, myths, psalms, testimonies, and epistles, it all is the Word of God. In today s Gospel, Jesus tells Pilate that everyone who belongs to the truth listens to His voice. We belong to the truth, so now we listen to God's voice. Question of The Week: In What Way(s) is Jesus King in My Life? How do I live in this world, while living FOR God s Kingdom? Sunday, November 25th Solemnity of Christ the King: Regular Weekend Mass Schedule; Sat 4pm, Sun 8am & 10am, 12:30pm in Spanish THE LAST SUNDAY BEFORE ADVENT! Tony will speak to us on the Catholic view of the End Times, and our need to rededicate ourselves and our families to Christ the King. We will close with the chanted Litany to Our Lord and His Saints, and the Salve Regina. Please Bring your Families and Friends! 4 Friends, Let us truly make even these final days of November a time of Remembrance and Thanksgiving! Almighty and Eternal God, from whose love in Christ we cannot be parted, neither by death nor by life: Hear our prayers and thanksgivings for all whom we remember this month; fulfil in them the purpose of your love; and bring us all, with them, to your eternal joy; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen. ~~~~~~~ December 1st & 2nd, We will celebrate the First Sunday of Advent & the New Liturgical Year of AD2019! Please be sure to pick up your blessed 2019 liturgical calendars, available after all weekend Masses next week. SOLEMNITY OF THE IMMACULATE CONCEPTION OF THE BLESSED VIRGIN MARY Each year, the Church celebrates the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception, a Holy Day of Obligation and the Patronal Feastday of the USA. We remember that Mary, "full of grace" through God, was redeemed from the moment of her conception, and that the Father blessed Mary more than any other created human person with a special place in the heavens. This year is unique, as December 8TH falls on a Saturday. In order to celebrate this important feast of the Blessed Virgin Mary, as well as continue on our Advent journey as a Church - marked by 4 unique Sundays, we as Catholics participate in two Masses on the weekend of December 8th and 9th. Masses for the Immaculate Conception will be celebrated at St. Mary of the Angels at 6:00pm on Friday, Dec. 7th, And here at Ss. Peter & Paul on Saturday Dec. 8th at 8:30am. The 4pm Mass on Saturday, as well as the Masses on Sunday, will be celebrated for the 2nd. Week of Advent. Let us gather at either parish church to celebrate this doctrine of our faith. Peace and All Good, Fr. Tony, O.F.M. Pastor
