This edition does not, at least in the few passages I looked at.the table of contents does link to Owen's most well-known treatises. When you click a link you usually will find another table of contents for the particular section. There is no link back to the general TOC, however.all in all, probably a fair price for a lot of material, but I already have the complete Goold edition of 23 volumes in pdf format, so this is superfluous for me. I would have kept it if the TOC had at least volume numbers and the work on Hebrews. John Owen was a professor of divinity at Oxford during the 17th century when England was in upheaval between Anglicans and Puritans. Owen represented the best of Puritan theory and his works have survived the test of time, and are still read today. His treatise on the Death of Death is still an Easter masterpiece of what the resurrection means for every Christian. More people should read Owen, but up till now his books were either hard to get or expensive. Here is the opportunity to study one of the great Christian theologians since the Reformation in an inexpensive form. Highly recommended.
I've read much of Owen and have been incredibly blessed by him over the years. Rather than focus on the content (who could write a review for 22 Owen books?), if you've read Owen and you can do the necessary wading, but the kindle version. Full table of contents for every single book in the volume.great deal! Buy it! If you want to grow in your faith in the grace of God that is yours in Christ Jesus, read old dead guys! Owen has the very best work these days, as few really preach on sin, let alone how to handle sin the way God intends...after all, He is the One offended! A must-read for any serious student and follower of Jesus Christ! It is sometimes hard to understand 16th century English. One must translate the text as you go along. The subject material is vastly important to bring forward into the 21st century. Owen's writing is very tightly reasoned. So, take your time and process through it in small pieces. The result will be a battery of weapons to assail the semi-pelagian nonsense the predominates the current Christian world. Affordable and easy to read. I've wanted an edition of Owen's work for some time but the bound volumes are too expensive for me at this time. Owen 's works are a great blessing for any thoughtful Christian reader and I hope more people will read his works now that they are available on the Kindle format at a low price. I love Owen and I always enjoy the works as I read through them. This is an easy volume to carry on the Kindle for those times when you are in a line are waiting and want to spend it with Owen.
