3rd Sunday Of Easter April 15, 2018 Happy Easter Everyone! Are you tired of Easter yet? It seems like the Easter Season well outlasts the bunnies and candy! That s by design! We spend time diving into this liturgical season so we can reap the graces Jesus wants to give us. Take this Sunday s Gospel for example. We ve heard this or a similar version already this month! Or if you go to Mass during the week, you re probably banging your head against a pew. But we keep coming back to the Resurrection, looking and praying from all angles, so we can fully appreciate the magnificence of what Jesus has done for us. We have to so we can truly say Alleluia! In my life, I m very tempted to go straight to Ordinary Time instead of marveling at what God does in the extraordinary moments. You too? Maybe we can slow down and understand more fully what the Lord is doing in our lives today! I m hoping Mass on the Grass was a great success (my time machine is in the shop), and want to thank you for the awesomeness of our community. The Lord is working in each of us, and I can t help but think of the final line of today s Gospel when I think of St. E s: You are witnesses of these things. God Bless! -FF
