From the Business Manager s Desk "My, how times have changed.... " It seems like we have all heard parents and grandparents utter those words at one point or another. Change, or progress, can often be for the ultimate good, but it can also be received at the inception, as devastating to society. Sometimes, however, there can be humor is seeing how history reacted to those things we take for granted today. Consider, for example, British wool merchant Jonas Hanway, who tried to walk the streets of London in the mid-18th century with an umbrella. Being the first time they had seen this oddly shaped accessory, stunned onlookers pelted him with "rubbish" and even tried to run him over with their carriages and buggies. Today, Jonas is remembered as a courageous innovator, but in his day, he was thought of as a foolish rebel. May the light we shine, today, regardless of how it is received or perceived, reflect what God has done and who He is, to those around us. And one more thing.... they are calling for rain. Martin Schreiber whose wife Elaine has had Alzheimer's disease for over 8 years. Through his experience of being a caretaker for his wife, Gov.
