BOOKS FOR THE SOLOMON S Hi Everyone, I am asking if anyone is travelling to Cooranbong by car (or otherwise) in the next month or two and is willing to take some boxes of Bibles and books to Trevor Oliver, co-ordinator of the It Is Written Medison Ship. (approx half a small boot. ie 5 med boxes or the space of one back seat passenger) These books are to be sent by crate to the Solomon Islands for outreach, so it is not urgent but plenty of notice is required to get the books from Ararat to Melbourne. I have contacts at Burwood church and Gilson College. Please contact Julie Tierney 53542624 or 0419311993 (Stawell SDA church ) 18. GATEWAY TRAINING SCHOOL A vision far-reaching and compelling awaits the church of God. In a mission to reach the cities, the servant of God dreamed of the time when every church would take on the call to become a priesthood of all believers. Where every church would be a training school for Christian workers. In our momentous times, in conjunction with our public evangelism campaign, that vision can be made a reality: Training schools and public meetings should be combined when doing city work. A well-balanced work can be carried on best in the cities when a Bible school for the training of workers is in progress while public meetings are being held EGW, Gospel Workers, p. 364-265. Welcome to the Gateway Training School. Dates: May 14 - October 15 (23 sessions) Times: Every Wednesday, 10am - 12pm Location: 161 Pelham St, Carlton Fee: Free of charge and open to everyone Contact: Vikram Panchal vikrampanchal@adventist.org.au / 0469 145 156 Topics include: 1. Adventist Identity 2. Master Plan of Evangelism 3. Soul-winning Bible Studies 4. Public Evangelism 5. Nurture and Discipleship 5
