CCD Program Guidelines CCD classes will be from 9am to 10:45am. Students will have class beginning at 9am at Redemptorist Catholic School. Students can be dropped off no earlier than 8:45 at the school entrance at 606 South Avenue N. Students will then attend the 10am Mass with their class. CCD will end after Mass at about 10:45am and students can be picked up outside of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church. Parents are asked to wait for their children outside of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church or are encouraged to join your child/children for Mass at 10am. Students are to attend all classes and are to report to the classroom on time. If an absence is unavoidable, please call the Parish Office to report the absence. If your child is absent, parents are to teach the missing material by completing the next two textbook chapters at home. The chapter review test at the end of each chapter must be completed and submitted to the catechist when your child returns to class. Children who miss more than three classes during the year must attend the year end make up class scheduled in April or repeat the entire year. There is a $17.00 charge to replace lost textbooks. Parents are not to take children from class or Mass before dismissal time. Disruptive behavior will not be tolerated. Any student acting in poor behavior will be asked to call his/her parents to come and pick him/her up. Parents will then need to arrange a meeting with the teacher, program manager, and the student before the student will be admitted back into the classroom.
