Bethany Lutheran Church Financial Concerns Due to the cash demands of the Bethany Lutheran Church operating budget, the church council approved at a regular meeting on Nov. 15 th the borrowing from the church building fund the amount of $10,000 which is to be transferred to the operating account. This amount is intended to be paid back to the building fund as excess funds are available. According to financial records, our budget expenses have averaged approximately $12,200 per month and our monthly receipts of giving have averaged approximately $9,900, creating a deficit of about $$2,300 per month.
