A StarLion Journey ANIMAL COMMUNICATION INTENSIVE 26 th 30 th April 2018 with Wynter Worsthorne In support of the White Lion Trust White Lion Trust
THURSDAY 26 th April You will be met at Hoedspruit airport from the lunchtime flight. (Those travelling by road will be given directions to a convenient meeting place.) On arrival at Camp Unicorn you will be shown to your room to relax and settle in. We regroup at 4:30pm for introductions and intention setting. You will learn all about the important work the project is doing and how your involvement, on many different levels, benefits the lions and nature as a whole. After dinner the National Geographic documentary about the project will be screened. A relatively early night for all ends the first day at Tsau! Listen out for the beautiful sounds of the African night, including the roars of the royal prides, as you drift off into dreamtime. Take note of your dreams during your stay at Tsau! as we often get important messages through our dreams. FRIDAY 27 th April The day starts with a leisurely breakfast at 9am. Wynter then shares her knowledge on Animal Communication. Through various meditations and visualisation exercises you will be shown how to still your mind and connect with all animals in order to understand them on a deeper, more intuitive level. Wynter explains the practicalities of interspecies communication, combining ancient knowledge with modern day practices. With the help of the resident lion camp dogs, you will be guided in a question and answer session to show you that we can all communicate with the animals. Here you are able to explore your ability to pick up physical and emotional messages from different species. After a delicious lunch the group returns to the workshop space, where you will learn how we can all connect with animals over any distance. You will be shown how to apply this knowledge into your everyday life with both wild and domestic animals. We also discuss the difficulties and blockages one may experience in this work and how to overcome them. The presence of the beings on this land gives extra energy and guidance to this teaching. At 4pm the group sets out for a dusk visit to the Royal Prides. This is a time of introduction and connection, which your work during the day has prepared you for. Back at Camp Unicorn we enjoy our evening meal and end off with storytelling by the fire.
SATURDAY 28 th April An early start finds you on the first dawn visit to the Royal prides. The group observes what has happened with the pride during the night and engages in personal observations and communications, with the lions permission. On return we enjoy a delicious breakfast before going back into the workshop space to learn more about interspecies communication and how to apply it in your every-day life. We look at how to overcome blockages in your practice and Wynter shares with you insights and tools to take back with you. After lunch we set out to Mbube, the property in the South of the Conservancy, home to the Akeru Pride: Letaba & Regeus and their family. Here we meet the newest members of the pride and ask them how we can be of assistant during this important time We spend time here absorbing the energy of the land, listening and communing with the heart of Nature. We drive back to Camp Unicorn for a wonderful evening meal around the fire. SUNDAY 29 th April Another early rise to greet the dawn with the Royal prides. After breakfast we regroup in the workshop space to discuss communications and revelations for the days spent in this space. At lunchtime we enjoy a scrumptious picnic under the ancient Wild Fig. A meditative time helps our meal to settle before we then, weather permitting, set out on a gentle walk along the Klaserie river banks, guided by one of the indigenous trackers who are part of the White Lion team. This is a time to observe and connect with the different nature beings who form part of this powerful land. Part of the walk will be done in silence in order for you to really feel at one with the earth and her children. The walk takes us to the site of the Rock Crystal Star Lion Sculpture by well-known Artist Andries Botha, set in exact alignment with the Sphynx along the Nile meridian. Wynter leads the group in meditation, and we discuss the ancient Egyptian links and the vital importance of this area of land and the beings who have come to be here. We conclude with the late afternoon monitoring check to the star prides. The group spends quiet time with the lions in due reverence and gratitude for the knowledge they have shared with us. We then head back to camp for a hearty evening meal
Monday 30 th April After an early breakfast the group comes together for sharing of experiences and further thoughts on integrating the knowledge gained during your intensive journey into Animal Communication and the soul of Africa. WHAT TO BRING: Comfortable walking shoes/boots. Clothing: We are coming in to South Africa s winter. During this time of year it can still be very warm during the day and cooler at night. It is the end of the rainy season, however, in these times weather is unpredictable, so please come prepared for all weathers. Mosquito repellent: Greater Timbavati is a Malaria area. However, this time of year there are not many mosquitos about. If you feel you do need to take prophylactics we suggest consulting a homeopath or herbalist, as the allopathic anti-malaria tablets can make you feel ill. Make sure you have insect repellent cream or spray for the evening and while sleeping. We would prefer you to use natural based products, to lessen the impact of chemicals in the environment. Head torch: Torches are provided in your rooms, but a head torch is very useful, if possible get one with a red light, which has less impact on the animals. Binoculars: It is great to have your own set, although there will be one in the vehicle to share Camera: Although this is a non-photographic project, you may bring your camera. Photos of the White Lions themselves are not to be taken without written permission from the WLT, but you are welcome to take photos of the base camp and the environment. Beautiful photographs by professional photographers are available for purchase with proceeds going to the Trust. Cash in ZAR: For staff tips and purchases of gifts etc from our unique White Lion Shop
ACCOMMODATION: Accommodation is shared in rondavels at the lion camp. There are comfortable communal showers close-by. (There are 2 en-suite rondavales available on request on a first come first serve basis) MONITORING VISITS: Group visits to the lions with the monitoring team, are limited to a maximum number of people. If necessary, the workshop group will be split for the visits to ensure each person spends quality time with the lions, without impacting them.
