When fully embodied and integrated, Heart Intelligence gives you the ability to be fully real, present, connected and heart-directed in every area of your life so that you can experience greater levels of performance, creativity, intuition and higher order thinking.

Spiritual Technologies for the Heart Heart Rhythm Meditation (HRM) Heart Mantras The Heart Sutra Using Music to Energize the Heart
Heart Rhythm Meditation Heart Rhythm Meditation is a kind of meditation in which you use a deep, full, slow, rhythmic breathing pattern, feeling your heartbeat as you breathe, and feeling as though it is your heart that is breathing. Heart Rhythm Meditation creates entrainment between your heart, mind, and nervous system that is deeply beneficial for your physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual health. The Source of Heart Rhythm Meditation originates from our mother s heartbeat as the earliest experience of Rhythm in the womb.
Heart Rhythm Meditation (cont d) Heart Rhythm Meditation is a Downward Meditation Practice (Spirit into Body) Heart Rhythm Meditation uses the body s main two rhythm: the breath rate and the heart rate, the coordination of which produces an experience of integration that is essentially spiritual. In the Contemplative Spiritual traditions, as well as the Christian and Sufi Traditions this type of meditation was referred to as The Prayer of the Heart or The Jesus Prayer dating back to the time of the Apostles of Christ.
HRM - The Practice Rhythmic Breathing: Once you can feel either your pulse or your heartbeat, use that as a counting rhythm. Continue to sit quietly and breath rhythmically for two minutes, hand on your heart. You should feel a clear shift in your body. Self-Compassion: turn your mind to positive, self- compassionate memories/thoughts (appreciation, gratitude).
The Prayer of the Heart The Oldest description we have of the Prayer of the Heart is by Abba Philemon, a student and companion of the holy Apostle Paul, who died in 54 AD. A sixth century book called The Life of Abba Philemon gives the following instructions: With the help of your imagination find the place of the heart and stay there with attention. Lead the mind from the head into the heart and say, Lord Jesus Christ, have mercy on me, quietly with the lips or mentally, whichever is more convenient; say the prayer slowly and reverently. As much as possible guard the attention of your mind and do not allow any thoughts to enter in.
The Prayer of the Heart (cont d) Over the centuries, the Christian Practice developed further and by the seventh century, became known as the Jesus Prayer. In it, the words Kyrie Eleison, Christe Eleison (Lord have mercy on me, Christ have mercy on me) are said with an awareness of the heart, while breathing consciously. This practice is the topic of the book The Way of the Pilgrin, written by an anonymous Russian Mystic.
