SATURDAY / December 19 52 JEREMIAH in Salvation History Jeremiah was a prophet who tried to get the people to repent and stop sinning...but the people wouldn t listen to him. So, God allowed the Babylonians to invade and conquer them. WATCH the Jesse Tree at www.adventadventure.com it shows a lot of kids acting out the Babylonian invasion: it was fun for the Adventure Guides, but in real life, it was not fun for the Jews! What s important right now is that we have only a few more days of Advent left. So, Jeremiah s message to repent is a good one for us. Are you old enough to go to Confession? If so, you should GO before Christmas then put another straw in AUDIO your Sacrifice Manger, because going to Confession really makes Jesus happy! It is also a good time to look back at your Advent so far and to plan for your next few days before Christmas. LIST some things you are going to DO especially during these last days of Advent to help others: What I will do... Whom I will help...

Nativity Manger Scene SATURDAY / December 19 53 LEVEL 3 Watch the video today about the colorable Nativity Manger scene. It s time to start your Nativity Manger scene, so PRINT OFF the colorable pages if you haven t already! Every day there will be NEW things to print off, color, and set up, day-by-day until Epiphany, when the THREE KINGS will arrive to visit Baby Jesus! Today, you need to: Color the stable and all the animals that are there waiting for Baby Jesus (do you see them all)? Set it up in a special place in your home! (put in the cutest parts of the stable) Color Mary, Joseph, and the donkey and start them on the way to the stable! They have a long way to go before they arrive! How many miles is it from Nazareth to Bethlehem? (Hint: the video will tell you) miles. HELP the ANGELS! God sent them to tell several different people about Jesus. Do you know remember whom? Solve the maze below to find out connect the ANGELS to the people (it s tricky more than one path works!). Whom should the? Saint Joseph ANGELS tell about Jesus?? Shepherds? Blessed Virgin Mary? The Three Kings

Fourth SUNDAY in Advent / December 20 54 You shall name Him Jesus! Hooray it s finally the 4th (and last!) Sunday of Advent! GO BACK to page 7 and COLOR in the fourth candle in the Advent Wreath don t forget to light it by coloring in the flame! You ll recognize the GOSPEL for this Sunday if you ve been praying the Decade-a-Day with us! Here s a COLORING PAGE about the Gospel Reading in today s Mass. Do you recognize it? It is The When Elizabeth heard the greeting of Mary, the babe leaped in her womb, and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit, and she exclaimed with a loud cry, Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb. (Luke 1:41-42)

Fourth SUNDAY in Advent / December 20 56 Angels, Angels Everywhere! Have you noticed how many times during our Jesse Tree that God has sent an angel to speak to a person? God sends angels to speak to you, too and you have a special Guardian Angel whom God has sent to protect you during your entire life. During these last few days before Christmas, notice how many times angels are mentioned and ask your Guardian Angel to help you every day! WATCH the SPECIAL Jesse Tree today about angels. CONNECT the DOTS to complete this picture of Joseph and Mary and the joy they felt after the angel told him to take her into his home and care for Jesus as a loving father would.
