He also works with deacons Joe Ward and Rhonda Davis. Christmas Hope: A GOD WHO SEES Tue. Dec. 4 6 pm - 8:30 pm FH You re invited to join the women of Trinity for dinner and a time of devotion as we present Christmas Hope: A God who Sees, an interactive program designed to help you experience the hope that only comes from Christ this Christmas Season, no matter your personal life situation. This event will feature the story of Hagar whose life s struggle led her to name God as El Roi or the One who sees me. Speaker, Ashley Stephenson, will share her experience as a Christian woman, a woman called to ministry, and a professional photographer to help us carefully examine our own stories, every joy and blessing along with every trial and struggle. Whether your Christmastime is filled with joyful memories and meaningful traditions with family and friends, or if it is simply a time of extreme stress, loneliness, or dread, make plans to join the women of Trinity for this special evening that is sure to deepen your relationship with the One who sees you just as you are. We will also need parent and adult volunteers for the children s day lead team. Contact me or Katie! ADVENT ITEMS FOR FAMILIES Advent materials for children and their families are available in various areas of our church. Plan to make this advent special as you share together the meaning and hope of the season. We are providing Advent posters on the grade school hallway this year. You may walk by and color or stop to admire as you walk down the grade school hallway. Family Devotion packets are available for families as well. In the packet you will find devotions, an Advent calendar and an Advent ornaments to color and assemble for your family worship time. A Coloring Nativity will be available as well. Advent is a time of reflection, hope, and waiting. As we wait and anticipate the holidays, my prayer is that each family will find Nativity in the season and a place to bow at the manger.
