Introit: Dignus est Agnus Graduale Romanum Dignus est Agnus, qui occisus est, accipere virtutem, et divinitatem, et sapientiam, et fortitudinem, et honorem. Ipsi gloria et imperium in saecula saeculorum. Ps. Deus, judicium tuum Regi da: et justitiam tuam Filio Regis. Worthy is the Lamb, which was slain, to receive power, and divinity, and wisdom, and strngth, and honour. To Him be glory and dominion to the age of ages. Ps. O God, your judgment grant to the King, and your justice to the King s Son. Kyrie eleison (Revelation 5:12 & 1:6; Psalm 71/72) Gloria in excelsis -3-

Collect Liturgy of the Word First Reading Daniel 7: 13-14 As the visions during the night continued, I saw one like a Son of man coming, on the clouds of heaven; when he reached the Ancient One and was presented before him, the one like a Son of man received dominion, glory, and kingship; all peoples, nations, and languages serve him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion that shall not be taken away, his kingship shall not be destroyed. Lector: The word of the Lord. Response: Thanks be to God. Responsorial Psalm Psalm 93: 1, 1-2, 5 The LORD is king, in splendor robed; robed is the LORD and girt about with strength. R. The LORD is king; he is robed in majesty. And he has made the world firm, not to be moved. Your throne stands firm from of old; from everlasting you are, O LORD. R. The LORD is king; he is robed in majesty. Your decrees are worthy of trust indeed; holiness befits your house, O LORD, for length of days. R. The LORD is king; he is robed in majesty. Second Reading Revelation 1: 5-8 Jesus Christ is the faithful witness, the firstborn of the dead and ruler of the kings of the earth. To him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by his blood, who has made us into a kingdom, priests for his God and Father, to him be glory and power forever and ever. Amen. Behold, he is coming amid the clouds, and every eye will see him, even those who pierced him. All the peoples of the earth will lament him. Yes. Amen. "I am the Alpha and the Omega, " says the Lord God, "the one who is and who was and who is to come, the almighty." Lector: The word of the Lord. Response: Thanks be to God. -5-

Alleluia Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord Blessed is the kingdom of our father David that is to come! (Mark 11: 9, 10) Holy Gospel John 18: 33b-37 Homily Priest: The Lord be with you. Response: And with your spirit. Priest: A reading from the Holy Gospel according to John. Response: Glory to you, O Lord. Pilate said to Jesus, "Are you the King of the Jews?" Jesus answered, "Do you say this on your own or have others told you about me?" Pilate answered, "I am not a Jew, am I? Your own nation and the chief priests handed you over to me. What have you done?" Jesus answered, "My kingdom does not belong to this world. If my kingdom did belong to this world, my attendants would be fighting to keep me from being handed over to the Jews. But as it is, my kingdom is not here." So Pilate said to him, "Then you are a king?" Jesus answered, "You say I am a king. For this I was born and for this I came into the world, to testify to the truth. Everyone who belongs to the truth listens to my voice." Priest: The Gospel of the Lord. Response: Praise to you, Lord Jesus Christ. -6-

Profession of Faith The Nicene Creed I believe in one God, the Father almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all things visible and invisible. I believe in one Lord Jesus Christ, the Only Begotten Son of God, born of the Father before all ages. God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, consubstantial with the Father; through him all things were made. For us men and for our salvation he came down from heaven, [bow] and by the Holy Spirit was incarnate of the Virgin Mary, and became man. For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate, he suffered death and was buried, and rose again on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures. He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead and his kingdom will have no end. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life, who proceeds from the Father and the Son, who with the Father and the Son is adored and glorified, who has spoken through the prophets. I believe in one, holy, catholic and apostolic Church. I confess one baptism for the forgiveness of sins and I look forward to the resurrection of the dead and the life of the world to come. Amen. Prayer of the Faithful Lector: Let us pray to the Lord. Response: Lord, hear our prayer. -7-

Offertory Liturgy of the Eucharist Offertorium: Postula a me Graduale Romanum Postula a me, et dabo tibi Gentes hereditatem tuam, et possessionem tuam terminos terrae. Ask of me, and I will give you the nations as your inheritance, and as your possession the utmost ends of the earth. (Psalm 2: 8) -8-

Sanctus Missa XVIII Mysterium Fidei Amen Our Father Pax Domini -9-

Agnus Dei Communion Procession Guidelines for Receiving Communion Catholics in full communion with the Church, who are properly disposed to receive Communion, not conscious of grave sin and who have typically fasted for at least one hour, are invited to come forward to receive the Body and Blood of our Lord Jesus Christ through the participation in Holy Communion. We welcome our fellow Christians to this celebration of the Eucharist as our brothers and sisters. Because Catholics believe that the celebration of the Eucharist is a sign of the reality of the oneness of faith, life, and worship, members of those churches with whom we are not yet fully united are not ordinarily admitted to Holy Communion. Members of the Orthodox Churches, the Assyrian Church of the East, and the Polish National Catholic Church are urged to respect the discipline of their own Churches. The Roman Catholic Church does not object to the reception of Communion by Christians of these Churches. We pray for the full visible unity among all Christians. Communio: Sedebit Dominus Rex with Ps 28/29 Graduale Romanum Sedebit Dominus Rex in aeternum: Dominus benedicet populo suo in pace. The Lord will sit on his throne as King forever. The Lord will bless his people in peace. (Psalm 28/29: 10b, 11b) Motet: Rex virtutum Giovanni Pierluigi da Palestrina (c. 1525-1594) Rex virtutum, Rex gloriae, Rex insignis victoriae! Jesu, largitor veniae, honor coelestis patriae. King of might, King of glory, King of eminent victory! Jesus, Granter of pardon, Honor of the heavenly kingdom! (From the hymn Jesu, Dulcis Memoria ) -10-

Anthem to the Blessed Virgin Mary Post Communion Collect -11-

Final Blessing & Dismissal Priest: The mass is ended, go in peace. Response: Thanks be to God. The Saint Michael Prayer Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle, be our safeguard against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray; and do thou, O Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God, cast into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits, who prowl throughout the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen. Priest: Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, All: Have mercy on us.
