At Nativity of Our Lord in Broomfield we recognize that hope is present when one can honestly sate they have been living the precept of the Church for at least six months. i.e attend mass every Sunday. Without this sign of hope both the Proximate Preparation and especially the Immediate Preparation will not bear its fullest fruit. We will not police this but challenge you in your conscience to be honest in where you are at in your Commitment to Christ. Therefor the seeker of this life is Christ will not be admitted to the final stage of immediate preparation for the reception of a Sacrament. We want you to have Life to the Full and we encourage you and your family to keep working on this goal with many of the opportunities we offer here to keep growing in your faith. Proximate preparation requirements - This is a very personal decision that we leave up to you the stewards of the seekers faith. The three most common avenues for this proximate preparation are: Catholic School, Religious Education program, Parish or Archdiocesan learning opportunities or an approved Homeschooling program. Parents, as primary catechists, please design the program that you feel will properly prepare your Child to be fully prepared to receive the Sacrament. Let us know what you have chosen and are committed to for you and your Childs preparation. See list of what Nativity offers for all ages on attached sheet.
