Rules & Regulation for Scientific Presentation Abstract submission rules for Paper and E-Poster presentation (Upto 15/11/2018 at 23.59 hrs) 1. All free paper (IDA Doctor members) abstracts are to be submitted to 54wbidaconference.freepaper@gmail.com 2. All paper abstracts from PGTs are to be submitted to 54wbidaconference.pgpaper@gmail.com 3. All UG (2nd year to final year BDS, internee) paper abstracts are to be submitted to 54wbidaconference.ugpaper@gmail.com 4. All poster abstracts from PGTs are to be submitted to 54wbidaconference.pgposter@gmail.com. 5. All poster abstracts from UG (2nd year to final year BDS, internee) are to be submitted to 54wbidaconference.ugposter@gmail.com. 6. Abstracts should be of maximum 180 words (including space) as an email. 7. A photo 3.5cm*4.5cm, in.jpeg format should be sent as attachment to respective email ids. 8. No word documents should be attached. 9. Name of the Presenter (only one), year of study, name of the college, name of the Guide, destination should be clearly written. PGTs should write the name of stream and the year at the beginning of the subject of e-mail,i.e. submitting an abstract from 2nd year PGT of Dept of Periodontics should have the subject of e-mail as : Perio-2nd-Name of the topic in short. Paper Presentation rules : 1. Paper presentation duration 8+2 minutes for UG and PGTs. 2. Free paper presentation duration 13+2 minutes. 3. Power Point presentations are to be made. 4. Maximum 15 slides ( slide size : on screen show 4:3, 25.4 cm * 19.05 cm; orientation: landscape) are allowed for UG and PG paper. 5. Maximum 30 slides (slide size: on screen show 4:3, 25.4cm * 19.05 cm; orientation: landscape) are allowed for free paper. 6. One video clip (if any) of duration of maximum 20 secs are allowed for UG and PG Papers and video clip should be compatible with the system provided. Organizers will not take any responsibility if the clip does not run during presentation. 7. Two video clips (if any) of duration of maximum 40 secs are allowed for Free Papers and video clip should be compatible with the system provided. Organizers will not take any responsibility if the clip does not run during presentation. 8. Animation should be avoided during transition of slides, while animations can be used inside slides. E-Poster Presentation rules: 1. Power point presentation comprising of one slide is to be made (slide size: onscreen show 4:3, 25.4 cm * 19.05 cm; orientation: landscape). Quiz Contest rules: 1. Colleges are requested to send the names of two member teams for the quiz contest. 2. Last date for submission of participation: 2nd December, 2018. 3. Colleges are requested to send the Participant names to: 54wbidaconference@gmail.com. 4. Quiz will be based on dental subjects only. Important: 1. Conference registration is must for paper/poster presentation. 2. All are requested to carry a pen drive/cd of their paper/poster presentation to the venue. 3.
