Felix Wantang I ACKNOWLEDGEMENT will like to acknowledge the relentless efforts and contributions from my lovely wife Jacqueline; she is truly a gift from God and a wonderful mother to all my children. I also like to acknowledge the contributions from all my children for their wonderful love, trust and support. I draw a lot of strength from their faces as I face the struggles of each day and I know that through them I am richly blessed by God in everything that I do. There is nothing more painful than spending all your life on earth without the opportunity of experiencing true love and I pray for those who have not yet experienced true love. In that aspect, I have been very blessed with true love from my wife, household, and family. I also acknowledge the love and patience from my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in his efforts to teach me the Language of Heaven and supernatural Biblical mysteries that have never been revealed in human history. 1
Spiritual Wisdom from Jesus Christ W INTRODUCTION hen you come to Jesus Christ for the first time, you never really know what stages your life will go through until Gad gradually starts to inject some spiritual life lessons that He uses to reshape your life. These life lessons among other things will serve as your daily manual to remind you that your life and what each day holds for you are no longer about you. These life lessons are designed to help you see the world from God s perspective. I remember who I was and how I viewed life before Jesus called me. I remember the young man who was so convinced that life is all about making big material dreams for yourself; that life is all about accumulating as much wealth as you can and that life was all about trying to be above everyone else. I remember taking a lot of pleasure in mocking Christians and I also recall that I was one of the most difficult children on earth. But as soon as Jesus took over my life, every single life lesson from our regular conversations gave me a new perspective of life. His lessons enabled me to see life through his eyes as I gradually came to that place where I am now able to sit back and embrace the presence of his peace which surpasses all understanding. Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. John 14:27. Analyzing life through the eyes of Jesus Christ is the only way you can successfully make sense from the struggles of this sinful world. This book is a compilation of some of the lessons from Jesus Christ during our face-toface meetings. This little book has been a very big blessing in my life and I pray that you be blessed as well by feeling his presence each time you call upon his mighty name. Please make sure you have your Holy Bible beside you before you proceed. All Biblical references were taken from the International Version of the Holy Bible. God bless you; Jesus loves you. 2
Felix Wantang L Does God Feel Your Pain? ife is usually very unpredictable that sometimes we find ourselves in one of the most difficult situations in life when we feel rejected, exploited, abused, abandoned, and hopeless. In moments like these, regardless of how much help we receive from loved ones, we usually still don t believe that there is a light down the tunnel. With no glimpse of hope around the corner, we gradually start to convince ourselves with one simple affirmation, I am done for good; I don t see a way out of this. I am completely screwed. What we fail to understand is the Biblical truth that as much as we appear to have given up on ourselves, God on the other hand will never forget our pain. He sees everything, He understands what we are going through, and He is always in charge of the storm that brings us to our knees. There is absolutely nothing wrong and nothing to be ashamed of when we come to that place where we feel like we ve lost all hope. In life, with everything, and in every spiritual struggle, for you to rise again, there has to be a low point of origin. To fly high, you have to take off from the ground. Sometimes what we call our lowest point in life is actually nothing but a moment that God uses to recharge our spiritual energy so we can rise again higher than we ve ever been. In 1 Kings 19:1-18, while hiding from Jezebel in a cave, Elijah lost all hope and actually asked God to take his life. What he did not know was that God deflated his supernatural spiritual balloon to prepare him for a refill that will take him higher than he ever imagined. One of the most interesting qualities of God in relation to every storm we face in life is that when He allows us to go through difficult times, it is only because He wants to strengthen us by testing our patience and faith in Him. The Bible teaches in Matthew 15:29-39 that when Jesus fed four thousand people, the crowd had been with him for three days without food. Notice that even though the people were very hungry as Jesus shared their pain, at no point did they cry out to Jesus for food to eat. They were more interested in the teachings of Jesus Christ to the point where they forgot that they needed food. They knew that Jesus was capable of taking care of their needs and that includes food. Their priority was to seek first the kingdom of God through Jesus Christ; after spending three days with him, Jesus knew that he had to find a way to feed them. The Bible teaches that after Jesus miraculously fed them, his disciples picked up seven basketfuls of leftover food. You and your loved ones may be going through what you consider to be the worst moment in your life; I want you to know that Jesus has his eyes on you and he will 3
Spiritual Wisdom from Jesus Christ never forget your pain. He also knows that you have an urgent need that requires his attention. Don t give up on God because He will never give up on you. When your deliverance comes, you will also pick up basketfuls of leftovers to take care of your loved ones. Seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. Matthew 6:33-34. Biblically speaking, it is true that the Bible commands us to call upon God through Jesus Christ for our all our problems in life and it is also true that God takes care of all our needs through the grace of His son. On the other hand, it is also true that there is something very unique in a father and child relationship. In life, we usually tell our little children to come to us for all their needs. However, that we are always there for our children does not necessarily imply that when we truly know for certain that they have a need which desperately requires our attention we should just sit back and wait for them to come to us. The appropriate definition of our relationship with God is synonymous to the relationship of a little child and a father. When you watch your little child struggle to climb the stairs and you know that there is just no way, your little baby can make it up the stairs without some adult help you will then start to get a better picture of how God views our relationship with Him. Just like you don t have to wait for your child to cry out for help before you step in, likewise God does not necessarily wait for us to cry out before He decides to step in to rescue us from circumstances that bring us to our knees. Always remember that before you got to that point where you finally gave up all hope, God as your maker already knew the limitations of your strength. That He allowed you to get to that point does not imply that He was waiting for your call. He already had a plan B before you exhausted plan A. Any time you view God s help and intervention as a reward to your prayer then you are essentially making Him the father who takes his eyes off His children until they scream for help. The compassionate nature of God is such that He always has His eyes on all His children through His son Jesus Christ. In desperate moments, your prayers are not answered because you cried out to God; your prayers are answered because God through Jesus Christ shares your pain. 4
Felix Wantang W About the Author hile working for a missionary hospital in a small town called Nguti in Cameroon, Felix Wantang received his first visitation from Jesus Christ in October 1991.
