RITE OF RECONCILIATION Easter morning takes us by surprise, with heaven s light revealing our doubts and sins. Let us now humbly turn to our forgiving God with the prayer of confession: In the bright light of Easter morning, our sin is exposed, but your grace is revealed. Tender God, we humbly and gratefully come before you and ask you to forgive us. Help us to leave behind our foolish doubt, so that with joy we may witness to your awesome deeds in Jesus the Risen One. Amen. Hear the Good News. In the name of Jesus, all things are made new. IMPORTANT INFORMATION, UPDATES THANK YOU: We would like to thank Kat Bowman, the Senior Choir, the Bell Choir, and Mackenzie Wookey for adding to the joy of Easter with their music this morning. CHILI COOK-OFF: April 20 th at 5:00 p.m. There are sign-up sheets in Fellowship Hall above the piano if you are interested in competing with your chili or if you are able to bring items needed for the cook-off such as drinks, bowls, spoons, napkins, table cloths etc. See Christin Love with any other questions. HEIFER PROJECT GIFT FAIR: Heifer Project Gift Fair will be held after Church Sunday May 5. Contributions of baked goods are needed and can be dropped off on Saturday morning May 4 at Fellowship Hall. Heifer Project fights hunger and poverty around the world and in the United States and changes people s lives. Your contributions are a big help. TRIP TO HARRISBURG: On Monday, April 15 th Pastor Doug will be traveling to Harrisburg to offer the opening prayer for the legislative session of the Pennsylvania State Senate. Members of the congregation are invited to attend to sit in the gallery and to be recognized. The invitation comes from State Senator Andrew Dinniman, who joined us for our Bicentennial celebration in October. Please let Pastor Doug know of your interest as soon as possible so that the convoy from the church can be arranged. Included that day will be a visit to the Welcome Center and a tour of the Capitol. BUSINESS DIRECTORY: The Deacons are looking to put together a directory of people from the Church who own businesses and would like to be included in our Business Directory. Our goal is to provide our members with trustworthy businesses as well as give business to those who own them.
