Welcome The Worship of God Kim Mason Please pass the Friendship Register as you record your name. The Life of the Church Greeting Chiming of the Hour Call to Worship Acts 2.43-47 As we enter into worship, lift up your hearts. We lift them up to the Lord. Heidi Thompson We light a candle as a symbolic reminder of God's presence with us. Lighting the Candle of Divine Presence Prelude Invocation Hymn No. 349 To God be the Glory Testimony: God is Here Joy Huddlestun Hymn No. 298 God is Here! God is here! As we your people meet to offer praise and prayer, may we find in fuller measure what it is in Christ we share. Here, as in the world around us, all our varied skills and arts wait the coming of the Spirit into open minds and hearts.

Matt Newton Congregation Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen. Prayers of the People The Lord s Prayer Kim Mason Children who are 3 years old through Kindergarten may follow Leigh Young and Laurie McEntyre to Children s Church. Children's Moment Hymn No. 504 I Am Thine, O Lord Prayer of Thanksgiving The Offering of Our Selves, Our Tithes, and Our Gifts Choral Anthem I Am Bound for the Kingdom Sanctuary Choir arr. Larson Sing the wondrous love of Jesus, sing his mercy and his grace; in the mansions bright and blessed he'll prepare for us a place. Hallelujah, praise the Lord! While we walk the pilgrim pathway clouds will overspread the sky, but when trav'ling days are over, not a shadow, not a sigh. Hallelujah, praise the Lord! Let us then be true and faithful, trusting, serving ev'ry day; just one glimpse of him in glory will the toils of life repay. Hallelujah, praise the Lord! Hallelujah, praise the Lord! Hallelujah, praise the Lord! Onward to the prize before us! Soon his beauty we'll behold; soon the pearly gates will open, we shall tread the streets of gold. Hallelujah, praise the Lord! Hallelujah, praise the Lord! Hallelujah, praise the Lord! Hallelujah, praise the Lord!

An Invitation First Baptist Church extends to all an invitation to membership. If you are looking for a community of faith where you can seek God, follow Jesus, and serve the needs of the world, we would gladly welcome you in this place. If you would like to commit your life to the way of Jesus and live as the beloved, forgiven child of God you are, and be baptized, we invite you to come forward during the Hymn of Response and share that decision with the pastor. You may also unite with our church by moving your membership from another community of faith. If you have any questions about FBC or what it means to follow Christ, the pastor would be glad to speak with you at any time. Welcome to First Baptist Jasper!
