Sunday Mornings at St. Paul s - The front office door will no longer be available for entering the church on Sunday mornings before service for anyone, with the exception of Clergy. If you have a key please enter through the double doors in the front to the east of the office door or through the Sacristy or double doors in the alley. Use the office hallway to enter the office, Sacristy or Sanctuary. If you are inside the office and someone knocks or rings the bell, please do not open the door. Our security will assist them to their destination. -Please do not leave your children unattended in the office. These things will help to keep St. Paul s a safe place for all. Thank you, 2

You Are Invited to Join Us. We are Preparing and Serving Thanksgiving Dinner on Thanksgiving Day November 22nd at 1:00 in Grace Hall for our St. Paul s Food Co-op Members. All are welcome to stay and sit down to eat and enjoy sharing with those who otherwise would not have the ability to have a traditional dinner on Thanksgiving Day. Turkeys have been provided but we need donations of Canned & Packaged Foods, Cooked Side Dishes and Supplies. Please check out the special shopping list below for the needs for this dinner only. Uncooked food donations can be brought to the office during weekday office hours or this Sunday. Cooked dishes can be brought to the kitchen/hall Thanksgiving Day from 11am to 12:45pm. If you are unable to come on Thanksgiving Day, cooked items that require refrigeration can also be dropped off in the office Tuesday and Wednesday during office hours. Please call the office or email Elaine at: elaineberg2216@gmail.com and put Co-op Thanksgiving in the subject line to let us know how you can help. We hope you will join us. Foil and Plastic Wrap or Plastic Bags, plastic disposable covered dishes, etc. (these will be used to send left overs with co-op members) If you can cook one or more of the above dishes or something else please bring Wed and put in refrigerator or bring Thursday no later than 12:45 pm 3 Food Co-op Shopping List Thank you for your support of this vital ministry. Please put us on your shopping list and help us restock our shelves from the list below. We will be serving @ 25 folks on Thanksgiving day. Dinner is being served at 1 pm. Thanks to all who are contributing!! If you are planning to assist with setup/serving/ cleanup please plan on being at the church at 12 pm. We should finish by 2:30 pm. DOK Holiday Tea Kathy Harlan is hosting a holiday tea celebrating the successful year of Daughters of the King. It will be held at her home on December 7 at 3:30 pm. Look Who has a Maserati.at least for the weekend Susan and Eric Barle attended the Valley Public Radio event they host annually as a thank you for Bakersfield s support of public radio. It is open to anyone to attend and advertised on our local station, KVPR. RSVP s are required. About 60 or so enjoyed wine and hors de oeuvres. Everyone threw their nametag into the prize bin for a drawing. 5 were drawn as winners of a Maserati for two days. Eric was one of the lucky winners.
