I am the Resurrection and the Life. He who believes in Me will live, even though he dies, and whoever lives and believes in Me will never die. I Can Only Imagine Rev. When We All Get To Heaven Devotional thought from Jesus Calling with Scripture Let Me help you through this day. The challenges you face are far too great for you to handle alone. You are keenly aware of your helplessness in the scheme of events you face. This awareness opens up a choice: to go it alone or to walk with Me in humble steps of dependence. Actually, this choice is continually before you, but difficulties highlight the decision-making process. So, consider it all joy whenever you are enveloped in various trials. These are gifts from Me, reminding you to rely on Me alone. (These devotional thoughts from Jesus Calling were meant for Bob.) Because You are my help, I sing in the shadow of Your wings. My soul clings to You; Your Right Hand upholds me. Psalm 63:7 8 Sing the wondrous love of Jesus, Sing His mercy and His grace; In the mansions bright and blessed He ll prepare for us a place. Refrain: When we all get to heaven, What a day of rejoicing that will be! When we all see Jesus, We ll sing and shout the victory! While we walk the pilgrim pathway, Clouds will overspread the sky; But when trav ling days are over, Not a shadow, not a sigh. Let us then be true and faithful, Trusting, serving every day; Just one glimpse of Him in glory Will the toils of life repay. Onward to the prize before us! Soon His beauty we ll behold; Soon the pearly gates will open; We shall tread the streets of gold. Eliza E. Hewitt
