ROSARY SOCIETY ATLANTIC CITY TRIP The Rosary Society of St. Thomas Aquinas Parish runs a trip to Resorts Casino in Atlantic City on the FIRST THURSDAY OF EVERY MONTH. The bus leaves from in front of the Church ( 1550 Hendrickson Street, between Flatlands Avenue & Avenue P ) at 8:30am. The cost of this is $40.00, which includes a bagel for breakfast and a $30.00 bonus from the Casino. Bereavement Group The death of a love one can be the most stressful event in a person s life. A wide array of emotions can be experienced, such as sadness, anger, anxiety, guilt, and despair. There is no right way and wrong way to grieve. Each person experiences grief in his or her own way, partly because of the relationship with the person who died. Come join us for our Fifth Annual Memorial Christmas Tree Lighting. You are invited to take this opportunity to memorialize or pray for your loved ones by purchasing a tree for $125.00. Your tree will be lit with your message on it at a ceremony. The lighting ceremony will take place in front of the Parish Rectory on Sunday, December 16th, 2018 immediately following the 5:30pm Mass. Please come to the rectory to fill out a form or find one at the back of the church and bring to the rectory with a check payable to St. Thomas Aquinas Church. Please have all forms in by December 2, 2018. Trees need to be ordered. Giving Tree Will soon be up and decorated with Christmas Tag Ornaments for children and families in need. The tree will go up on Saturday, December 2 nd, the first weekend of Advent and gift donation must be returned before Sunday, December 16 th. Our recipients of the generous gift of our parish are Hour Children. Our gifts will brighten the lives of many ranging from babies and their mothers and children of all ages.
