Forrest Poulson born 13 Jan 1924 at Lewisville, Id. His parents were Levi Poulson or Poulsen and Eva Tuttle Hunter. He died 11 May 1972 at Ogden, Utah. They were very good to him. Roy worked very hard finding work to help the family live. The boys worked at an early age helping to do all the chores. Their home was clean. It is said that Roy did the scrubbing of the floors. He was that kind of man, always willing to help and to make others happy. He hung wallpaper, painted, got wood, anything to help out. May always had her hair fixed so nice. Earrings, make-up, dressed clean and nice. She, at one time, had a Confectionary business in the 1930's. She had a hat shop and she always had beauties on her head. Always complimentary. She tried in her way to help the income to the family. He was kind and sympathetic neighbor. A devoted father and husband, genuine, and a good companion with his sons. The death of their daughter really affected them. Roy had dark eyes and his face sparkled and his eyes shone whenever you saw him. My third brother was such a good kind hearted fellow. He lived only a couple of blocks from my parents home. From the time he was married he loved to come over home and visit. He would come and sit in the big rocker in the kitchen and visit until one of his boys would come for him and say Mama wants you to come home. It was so good for him to come, especially on rainy days. We all loved to have him come. Mother said he could never stay long enough for a good visit. I still have some hankies he gave me when I was a kid. I remember when Lester,

Rhoda and I went over to his place to spend the evening. They had 5 boys and lost a girl when she was 16. He was a very good man. He had black eyes and hair. He was the tallest of the brothersover 6 feet tall. Ruth Jardine Norton (sister) Sep, 8, 1990 I remember Uncle Roy and his smiling sparkling kind black eyes. He looked more like grandpa Jardine. He was kind to me always. They had a player piano and he let us kids play tunes. Oh how we loved it. They had a black walnut tree and Jack used to stay a lot with our family in Idaho Falls and he always brought mom some of the walnuts, because she loved them. They were so hard to crack. Jack also brought us horseradish from his home in Lewisville. We used to put a grinder on the back step at 490 D. Street and hope the breeze would blow the fumes away. They had good crab apples and Jack used to bring them to us. They had a ditch out front and a wide board walk to the house. When it lost some of it s boards, it was a more precarious job getting to the end. Zoe said that Uncle Roy did the scrubbing at the house. She says he also did the mending of socks. Aunt May made the best chocolate cakes with boiled white icing on them with raspberries put in it. It was so good. Zoe said Jack used to walk her home after Mutual or else she would stay all night at Uncle Roy s home. They were very good to her. I remember my first time of being a flower girl at Lucretia s funeral. She died so young and it broke her parent s hearts. Aunt May always was so clean and her hair fixed up so nice. I learned that she used to have a hat shop. No wonder-she set the right example for it all. Cecil was so good to mother when they moved to Rigby. He saw that they always had fish to eat as he knew mom loved fish. Hal and Leonard were good to my folks also. A good family. Jack stayed at our home when he had chances to work in Idaho Falls. I always loved them so much. And they were so good to me. Kathleen Jardine Woolf (niece) Information from Lewisville Centennial Book, Church records, Words from Aunt Ruth, and having known him, I loved him.
