Deacons of the Day: Howard Radford and Wallace Turman Nurse of the Day: Jannette Bakr PRELUDE...... Musicians (Please worship in silent prayer) CALL TO WORSHIP.... Minister CHORAL CALL TO WORSHIP. Choir & Congregation Days of Elijah These are the days of Elijah, declaring the word of the Lord. And these are the days of Your servant, Moses righteousness being restored. These are the days of great trials of famine and darkness and sword, still we are the voice in the desert crying prepare ye the way of the Lord! Chorus: Behold He comes, riding on the clouds shining like the sun, at the trumpet's call, Lift your voice, (it's) the year of Jubilee out of Zion's hill, salvation comes. And these are the days of Ezekiel the dry bones becoming as flesh. And these are the days of Your servant, David rebuilding the temple of praise. And these are the days of the harvest, The fields are all white in the world, And we are the laborers that are in Your vineyard declaring the Word of the Lord. Chorus: Behold He comes, riding on the clouds Shining like the sun at the trumpet's call Lift your voice, (it's) the year of Jubilee out of Zion's hill, salvation comes. There's no God like Jehovah! There's no God like Jehovah! There's no God like Jehovah! There's no God like Jehovah! There's no God like Jehovah! There's no God like Jehovah! There's no God like Jehovah! There's no God like Jehovah!
Chorus: Behold He comes, riding on the clouds shining like the sun, at the trumpet's call, Lift your voice, (it's) the year of Jubilee out of Zion's hill, salvation comes. *INVOCATIONAL PRAYER.. Minister CHORAL RESPONSE... Choir & Congregation #133 or #124 "Spirit Of The Living God" Spir-it of the liv-ing God, fall fresh on me; Spir-it of the liv-ing God, fall fresh on me. Break me, melt me, mold me, fill me. Spir-it of the liv-ing God, fall fresh on me. (repeat) RESPONSIVE SCRIPTURE READING...... Minister Romans 8:10-14; Galatians 5:16-25 (NKJV) And if Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you. Therefore, brethren, we are debtors not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh. For if you live according to the flesh you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live. For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God. I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish. But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law. Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. And those who are Christ s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. ALL: If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. CHORAL WORSHIP.....
