WHAT DID THE LORD DO AT MOUNT SINAI? READ: EXODUS 19:16-20 16 Then it came to pass on the third day, in the morning, that there were thunderings and lightnings, and a thick cloud on the mountain; and the sound of the trumpet was very loud, so that all the people who were in the camp trembled. 17 And Moses brought the people out of the camp to meet with God, and they stood at the foot of the mountain. 18 Now Mount Sinai was completely in smoke, because the LORD descended upon it in fire. Its smoke ascended like the smoke of a furnace, and the whole mountain quaked greatly. 19 And when the blast of the trumpet sounded long and became louder and louder, Moses spoke, and God answered him by voice. 20 Then the LORD came down upon Mount Sinai, on the top of the mountain. And the LORD called Moses to the top of the mountain, and Moses went up. NKJV

QUESTIONS: ISAIAH 64:1 WHAT DID THE LORD DO AT MOUNT SINAI? WHY? READ: JUDGES 5:4-5 4 LORD, when You went out from Seir, When You marched from the field of Edom, The earth trembled and the heavens poured, The clouds also poured water; 5 The mountains gushed before the LORD, This Sinai, before the LORD God of Israel. NKJV READ: PSALMS 18:7-9 7 Then the earth shook and trembled; The foundations of the hills also quaked and were shaken, Because He was angry. 8 Smoke went up from His nostrils, And devouring fire from His mouth; Coals were kindled by it. 9 He bowed the heavens also, and came down With darkness under His feet. NKJV

NKJV

QUESTIONS: ISAIAH 64:1 WHAT DID THE LORD DO AT MOUNT SINAI? WHY? READ: HABAKKUK 3:3-6 3 His glory covered the heavens, And the earth was full of His praise. 4 His brightness was like the light; He had rays flashing from His hand, And there His power was hidden. 5 Before Him went pestilence, And fever followed at His feet. 6 He stood and measured the earth; He looked and startled the nations. And the everlasting mountains were scattered, The perpetual hills bowed. His ways are everlasting. NKJV

QUESTIONS: ISAIAH 64:1 1 Oh, that You would rend the heavens! That You would come down! That the mountains might shake at Your presence WHAT DOES THE PROPHET WANT THE LORD TO DO? WHY?
