New Board Members are Carl Crenshaw, Kathy Jo Doney, Dave Mansell, and Barbara Mansell. EMMAUS TRAILER Our trailer needs a facelift and a new indoor garage or barn to call, home. If you d like to donate to this cause, please send your donations to: Kathy Hart - Treasurer, 5598 Witch Lake Rd, Republic, MI 49879 No donation is too small! Did you know that there are 139 verses (Strong's Concordance) that contain the word money? All we have belongs to God, and believing that, we are called to be sensible, faithful stewards. God knows our financial needs and promises to provide for them. (Phil 4:19) The Lord uses money not only to provide the essentials of life, but to test, train and mature us. Our work, planning and discernment are important, but God is the sole source of blessing. "The silver is Mine; and the gold is Mine, says the Lord of Hosts" Haggai 2:8 Praise God for our Leaders! MEMIORS OF A PILGRIM: My walk was so crucial to my life, at the time I took it. The talks were especially touching to my heart. The area that really hit me was my priorities. I usually take on more and more till I m stressed out. I am now trying to focus on the more important things to me, like keeping God first, my family and people in general. Not to be so focused on things and activities. It still is a struggle for me, but I laid this at the cross and I m desperately trying to leave it there. The walk was so awesome I think every Christian should experience that love! This is the kind of love that makes up God. We all should be exuding this love 24/7. It is what makes people stop and wonder! I m so grateful for my sponsor for signing me up. I truly thought yeah, another retreat, yawn, ho-hum. What a shock to go and experience this love. Thank you so much Emmaus community for your dedication and service to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ! After all we are the BODY of Christ! All I can say is WOW! -Walk 60 If anyone would like to share your walk experience, send it to the newsletter editor either by mail or email.
