'How,' the author wondered, 'do we find joy in the midst of deadlines, debt, and daily duties? What does the Christ-life look like when your days are gritty, long--and sometimes dark? How is God even here?' In this book, Ann invites you to embrace everyday blessings and embark on the transformative spiritual discipline of chronicling God's gifts. It's only in this expressing of gratitude for the life we already have, we discover the life we've always wanted...a life we can give thanks for and break for others. Buck Denver Asks What s in the Bible? DVD - Volume 1 is the first installment of the DVD series from VeggieTales creator Phil Vischer. He has set out to teach kids (and parents!) the story of the Bible God s great rescue plan! Ghost Boy by Martin Pistorius - In 1988 Martin, age 12, fell inexplicably sick. First he lost his voice and stopped eating, then he slept constantly and shunned human contact. Doctors were mystified, and within 18 months he was mute and wheelchair-bound. Martin's parents were told an unknown degenerative disease left him with less than two years to live. Their boy was gone or so they thought. This is the heart-wrenching story of one boy's return to life through the power of love and faith. Page 3
