Weekly Bulletin Announcements Please insert the appropriate weekly bulletin announcement for the four weekends of JUNE. June 7, 2015 Feast of Corpus Christi Stewards Work on Earth Then he took a cup, gave thanks, and gave it to them and they all drank from it. - MARK 14:23 Jesus, the perfect Steward, gave thanks, just before He gave Himself to us completely for our salvation. He offers us the chance to drink from His cup. In the Eucharist, we meet Christ personally and, if we listen to Him, we know what drinking from His cup means for each of us. Often, it means our own sacrifice giving up some of our time, talent and treasure to do His Stewardship work on earth. June 14, 2015 11 th Sunday in Ordinary Time Stewards are Responsible For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may receive recompense, according to what he has done in the body, whether good or evil. -2 CORINTHIANS5:10 We are all accountable for Stewardship of the gifts God has given us on Earth our time, talent and treasure. One day each of us will be asked by God what we did with those gifts. How will you respond? June 21, 2015 12 th Sunday in Ordinary Time Stewards Have Faith Then he asked them, Why are you terrified? Do you not yet have faith? MARK 4:40 Most of us like to be in control. Loss of control makes us fearful. Try changing your perspective, let God be the pilot! There s an old saying do you want to make God laugh? Tell him your plans. Stewards put their trust in God, He always has a better plan!
June 28, 2015 13 th Sunday in Ordinary Time Stewards Seek Equality as a matter of equality your abundance at the present time should supply their want, so that their abundance may supply your want, that there may be equality. - 2 CORINTHIANS 8:14 Not only are we responsible for our own lives, but we are responsible for the lives of those around use. Not only is it important that we grow, nurture and share our gifts, but we should teach our children Stewardship and encourage others to do the same.
