Abiding in Christ Delighting in Immortality

Murky History of Valentines Day

Our Need for Love

That God Sized Hole

Love That s Here to Stay Since you have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit in sincere love of the brethren, love one another fervently with a pure heart, having been born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, through the word of God which lives and abides forever, 1 Peter 1:22-23

Abide

Living In And Lived In I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit. You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you. Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me John 15:1-4

Living In And Lived In I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned. If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you. By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples John 15:1-4

The World Advertises Beliefs

Because Repetition Builds Belief

A Moment With Grammar

Biblical Meditation

Intentional Freedom Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy meditate on these things. The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you Philippians 3:8-9

Love and Joy Perfected As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love. If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father's commandments and abide in His love John 15:9-10

Abide

Eternal and Immortal Love As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; remain in My love. If you keep My commandments, you will remain in My love, just as I have kept My Father's commandments and remain in His love As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love. If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father's commandments and abide in His love As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; live in My love. If you keep My commandments, you will live in My love, just as I have kept My Father's commandments and live in His love

To Dwell In and Dwell On

Accept the Indwelling But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection. And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful. Colossians 3:14-15

Grateful For The Word Within Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him. Colossians 3:14-15

Increasing the Scope and Purpose of Worship

Refocusing Attention Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity. Till I come, give attention to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine. 1 Timothy 4:12-13

Fully Attentive Do not neglect the gift that is in you, which was given to you by prophecy with the laying on of the hands of the eldership. Meditate on these things; give yourself entirely to them, that your progress may be evident to all 1 Timothy 4:14-15

The Great Promise Take heed to yourself and to the doctrine. Continue in them, for in doing this you will save both yourself and those who hear you 1 Timothy 4:16
