We encourage this practice as one of the foundation ideas in the Haggadah is that children should be encouraged to ask questions and their parents (and other adults at the table) should respond in ways that make the story of Pesach a memorable moment of learning. The fifth grade sang and read their way through the Haggadah with passages listed in the grade levels prior to fifth grade, punctuated by their own questions and friends proposed answers. כתה ו 6th Grade (The Haggadah we use is A Different Night, published by the Shalom Hartman Institute) We studied the connection between the second book of the Torah, the Book of Sh mot, which we are studying in Tanakh, and the Haggadah.
