Bethulah a virgin of any age, but may mean a young widow (Joel 1:8), usually has an explanatory statement. Almah, a young virgin of marriageable age, never of a married woman, translated parthenos in LXX. Clearly a virgin in Isa 7:14, since it is a sign from God.
