Promptings, This Sunday, we complete the Reset worship series. We ll deal with how best to discern what is vital in measuring success in Christ. Scripture and history combine to teach us Christians sometimes lose sight of what s most important to their walk with Christ. My hope is that each of us leaves the worship services better ready to ask ourselves some challenging Christ-centered questions. Advent is almost here. Our Advent morning worship services will challenge us to dare to hope, repent, say Yes to God, and buy into God s way of redeeming the world. Three early evening services are on tap as well. Each starts at 5pm and promises to be a special service. On December 2, the Hanging of the Green service will feature our children s, youth, adult, and handbell choirs. Come December 16, the music ministry will present a multi-generational Christmas concert led by all the components of the music ministry. On December 24, we ll gather in the Sanctuary for the Christmas Eve service. I look forward to sharing in worship with you in the coming weeks.
