The Bible says God made the earth in six days. Write out the end of verse 0 to show what God s response to His work was. sun land For teacher s remarks 0

Level A Lesson Lesson No. In The Beginning - God Creates Man Read Genesis : 0- Key Verse Genesis : 7 Please put your name here Have you ever thought how much power it takes to cause a volcano to erupt or how powerful the wind has to be before it becomes a hurricane, whipping up everything in its path? These things are hard for us to imagine. Think then about the amazing power that made the world we live in, the ALMIGHTY POWER OF GOD. We read about God s great power in creation in Genesis. We see Him in all His glory as He creates the animals and then, most wonderful of all, He creates the first human beings. Which two of the following creatures did God make first? Write their names in the box. When God made these kinds of creatures, He blessed them. What did He say? and In verses 4 and 5 we see God at work. What three different things do these verses tell us God did. God God God No wonder He was pleased with everything He did. When designers create something new, they make a pattern. What did God use as a pattern when He made man? (See verse 7.) Whom did God put in charge of His creation? What did God say when He blessed the man? (Look at verse 8.)

Level A Lesson Write IN YOUR OWN WORDS the sort of food that man and the animals were going to eat. (Read verses 9 and 0.) For man For the animals Underline how long it took God to complete His creation? month 0 days week What a wonderful time God must have had creating all the hundreds of different animals! However, God s greatest creation was mankind. God breathed into Adam the breath of life and man became a living soul! (Genesis : 7) This made Adam different from all other living things. God planted a beautiful garden in which Adam could live, and He even made him a companion, who was the first woman. God Himself came down to walk and talk with them in the garden. How wonderful it must have been! What was the name of Adam s wife? (Read Genesis : 0.) 6 days weeks a year Perhaps you have taken time to make something really special. How did you feel when someone told you how good your work was? No doubt you were pleased. God is pleased when we admire His creation. If you complete this puzzle you ll discover something He likes us to do. Write down the first letter of each picture. God is the maker of the Universe. You can see proof of His power and glory in Nature all around. There is no power greater than His because He is the maker of everything! God made you different from the animals. The next time you look in the mirror, remember you are special, so don t forget to praise Him! For teacher s remarks 0

Level A Lesson Lesson No. In The Beginning - Things go wrong Read Genesis : 5-7 and : - Key Verse Genesis : Please put your name here If a friend put a present on the table and told you not to open it, how long would it be before you just had to have a look inside? The very moment you open it, the surprise is spoiled. This is a picture of how sin came into the perfect world that God had made. Sin is disobeying God s commands. In the Bible Reading we learn that God gave Adam and Eve everything they could have wanted. However He left them with one important command. What was it? If Adam and Eve ate from the tree, God said they would... Be ill If Adam and Eve ate from the tree, the serpent said they would... Not die Have to leave Die Be punished Circle the correct answers. Be sad Be punished Be ill The serpent was God s enemy, Satan, in disguise. What is said about the serpent? (See Genesis :.) As Eve listened to the serpent, she noticed some good things about the fruit that persuaded her to taste it. What were they?

Level A Lesson Answer TRUE or FALSE to the following:- Adam was the first to take a bite from the fruit. They realized they were naked. They sewed fig leaves together to make coverings for themselves. They were both very happy. Unscramble the letters to discover what Adam and Eve did when they heard God walking in the garden. YHET / HDI / SEVLESMEHT God called them because they were hiding. What did Adam say to God? - - - - / - - - / - - - - - - - - - - 4 What was Adam s excuse? Whom did Eve blame? When you do something wrong, do you sometimes make excuses to try and cover up or blame someone else? This is what Adam and Eve did. We all sin, but we shouldn t make excuses or tell lies to cover it up. We can t hide our sin from God. He knows all about it. He wants us to be sorry and turn away from our sin so that He can forgive us! God told Adam that because of his sin, the earth was spoiled and it would produce thorns and thistles. They had to leave that lovely garden and Adam now had to work very hard to obtain food. Because of their sin they were no longer happy in God s company, and one day they would have to die. Also, because of their sin, every human being would be born with a sinful nature. Look up Romans 5: in your Bible. For teacher s remarks 0

Level A Lesson 4 Lesson No. 4 In The Beginning - Doing things God s Way Read Genesis 4: -6 Key Verse John 4: 6 Please put your name here If you are going on a journey to a place which you ve never visited before, you need to be sure of the way first. You look at a map, or ask someone who s been there before. If you just set off in any direction, hoping you ll get there, you re bound to get lost! There is a way to God. It is His way. Cain tried to please God his own way.???? What were the occupations of Abel and Cain? WORD LADDER CLUES ACROSS 4 5 ) The said Why are you angry? ) The younger brother 4) The older brother 5) The older brother became very _. CLUES DOWN ) The brothers brought _ to God. 5 Which offering pleased God? Cain was very angry with God because He rejected His offering. Finish each of the letters to find out what he did next.

Level What was Cain s punishment? (See verse.) A Lesson 4 Cain said that he could not bear his punishment. Look at verses and 4, and write down his four reasons. 4 4 Abel offered a lamb and that pleased God because it was a picture of the Lord Jesus. He is the Lamb of God, who offered Himself on the cross to take away the sin of the world. Today, many people try to please God their own way, but the Bible says there is only ONE WAY to please Him. We must ask God to forgive us for all the wrong we have done. We must put our trust in the Lord Jesus who is willing to forgive us. The offering of Himself on the cross really makes it possible for God to take away our sin. Those who trust Him are forgiven! Write in the signpost the name of the place where Cain went to live. Write out the Key Verse to find out how to get back to God. Abel believed that he was a sinner and needed to shed the blood of a lamb in order to receive God s forgiveness. Cain did not admit that he was a sinner and he did not come to God in God s way. Abel was accepted because of his faith in God. Read Hebrews : 4.
