Alleluia Bel Canto; Scott Dean, director Revelation 21:5-6 Scott Dean (9) Katie Metz; (11) Kora Krumm Leader: Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, and I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, Look! God s dwelling place is now among the people, and He will dwell with them. They will be His people, and God Himself will be with them and be their God. He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away. People: He who was seated on the throne said, I am making everything new! Then He said, Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true. Leader: He said to me: It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To the thirsty I will give water without cost from the spring of the water of life. Those who are victorious will inherit all this, and I will be their God and they will be My children. Life Together The Sacrament of Baptism (9) Rev. Kendy Easley; (11) Rev. Tim Vance + #492 Baptized in Water Prayer Song: Prayer of the Children Kurt Bestor, arr. Andrea Klouse Prayers of God s People God s Word To Us Ministry through Music: Up on the Mountain Shouting Elizabeth Moore, accompanist Paul Caldwell, Sean Ivory Scripture: Deuteronomy 34:1-2, 4-7, 9-12 (9) Emma Taylor; (11) Molly Merriman 1 Then Moses climbed Mount Nebo from the plains of Moab to the top of Pisgah, across from Jericho. There the Lord showed him the whole land from Gilead to Dan, 2 all of Naphtali, the territory of Ephraim and Manasseh, all the land of Judah as far as the Mediterranean Sea. 4 Then the Lord said to him, This is the land I promised on oath to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob when I said, I will give it to your descendants. I have let you see it with your eyes, but you will not cross over into it. 5 And Moses the servant of the Lord died there in Moab, as the Lord had said. 6 He buried him in Moab, in the valley opposite Beth Peor, but to this day no one knows where his grave is. 7 Moses was a hundred and twenty years old when he died, yet his eyes were not weak nor his strength gone. 9 Now Joshua son of Nun was filled with the spirit of wisdom because Moses had laid his hands on him. So the Israelites listened to him and did what the Lord had commanded Moses. 10 Since then, no prophet has risen in Israel like Moses, whom the Lord knew face to face, 11 who did all those signs and wonders the Lord sent him to do in Egypt to Pharaoh and to all his officials and to his whole land. 12 For no one has ever shown the mighty power or performed the awesome deeds that Moses did in the sight of all Israel.
*+ By Faith Keith and Kristyn Getty and Stuart Townend (Verse 1) By faith we see the hand of God In the light of creation s grand design, In the lives of those who prove His faithfulness, Who walk by faith and not by sight. (Verse 2) By faith our fathers roamed the earth With the pow r of His promise in their hearts, Of a holy city built by God s own hand, A place where peace and justice reign. (Chorus) We will stand as children of the promise; We will fix our eyes on Him, our soul s reward. Til the race is finished and the work is done, We ll walk by faith and not by sight. (Verse 3) By faith the prophets saw the day When the longed-for Messiah would appear With the pow r to break the chains of sin and death And rise triumphant from the grave. (Verse 5) By faith this mountain shall be moved And the pow r of the gospel shall prevail, For we know in Christ all things are possible For all who call upon His name. (Chorus) (Chorus) We ll walk by faith and not by sight. ccli#5469291
