ABOUT TODAY S WORSHIP Today s sanctuary flowers are provided by John and Deborah, Julian and Debbie, and Tom Bunn in loving memory of Julian and Martha Bunn. The rose on the pulpit is placed to celebrate the birth of Mollie Wilson s daughter on October 8, 2016. Mark and Maggie Wilson are the proud grandparents. This morning, we continue our 2017 congregational theme, Higher Ground. Each of us will be challenged to step up to a higher level of worship, fellowship, stewardship, service, witness, and commitment. Using Jesus Sermon on the Mount, all ages will learn together in Sunday School and worship what it means to move to this Higher Ground. Listen to what step God might be calling you to take. Where is the Higher Ground He is preparing you to travel? Let s join together to make this journey and see just what God has in store! CHURCH OFFICE CLOSED Tomorrow (Monday, October 24) the church office will be closed for Staff Development. Someone will be available to answer phone calls, but the staff will be unavailable most of the day.
