Where to START? Romans 12:1-8 (CEV): Dear friends, God is good. So I beg you to offer your bodies to him as a living sacrifice, pure and pleasing. That's the most sensible way to serve God. Don't be like the people of this world, but let God change the way you think. Then you will know how to do everything that is good and pleasing to him.

Romans 12:1-8 (continued) vs 3: I realize how kind God has been to me, and so I tell each of you not to think you are better than you really are. Use good sense and measure yourself by the amount of faith that God has given you. A body is made up of many parts, and each of them has its own use. That's how it is with us. There are many of us, but we each are part of the body of Christ, as well as part of one another.

1 Corinthians 13 1 If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. 2 If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. 3 If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames, but have not love, I gain nothing.
4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
THE GIFT OF CRAFTSMANSHIP In the Old Testament, Bezalel was filled with the Spirit of God with skill, ability, and knowledge in all kinds of crafts. (Exodus 31:3) Dorcus, a Christian lady in Joppa, used her needle and thread to sew clothing for the poor. She was using the gift of crafts to serve her Lord and strengthen the Body of Christ. (Acts 9:36-43) The God-given gift of craftsmanship enables one to skillfully work in areas that call for creativity and knowledge in designing, repairing, sewing, building, cooking, drawing, painting, and the like. These good works are performed to the glory of God and the good of other people.
THE GIFT OF SINGING Congregational singing is and will always be the acceptable norm, yet some among us have a special God-given ability that may, at times, be used in special ways to glorify God and inspire the Body of Christ. Singing is a powerful medium for teaching and touching the hearts of people. What can compare with the beauty of the human voice when used for singing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs? The secular world has learned how to use music to reach the hearts and minds of people.
In the early church, some made their unique contribution by singing. (1 Corinthians 14:26) The melody and message in singing is a powerful tool for teaching and admonishing one another. (Ephesians 5:18-20; Colossians 3:15-17) Many of us have experienced the tremendous lift that comes when we hear human voices praising God and declaring the biblical message in song. Through the gift of singing, Christians can offer a valuable and unique ministry to others in times of great joy or deep distress.
OTHER GIFTS God is not limited to the box we want to put Him in. While the scripture has lists of gifts given by God, each list is not the same or exhaustive. What gift have you discovered that God has given you? Is it being used for the EDIFICATION OF OTHERS? Is it being used for the BUILDING UP OF THE CHURCH and to BRING GLORY TO GOD?
