10:45 Order of Worship November 26, 2017 (See separate bulletins for 6:30 & 8:30 and for Praise Worship) On this final Sunday of the church year our gospel is Jesus great story of judgment. In the end, the faithful are those who served Christ by ministering to those who are poor, hungry, naked, sick, or estranged. In the first reading God is the shepherd who seeks the lost, weak, and injured and feeds them with justice. We gather this day to celebrate the reign of Christ and his victory over death, yet awaiting the consummation of all things yet to come. Acknowledging Christ as our merciful ruler, we go forth that his reign may be known in our loving words and deeds. *CANTICLE OF PRAISE This is the Feast of Victory pg. 149 As the church year draws to a close we use Worthy Is Christ from the book of Revelation, as our song of praise. The hymn looks forward to the day when we shall gather at the throne of the Lamb to praise Christ s holy name. 4

We believe in one God, the Father, the Almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all that is, seen and unseen. We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, eternally begotten of the Father, God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, of one Being with the Father. Through him all things were made. For us and for our salvation he came down from heaven; by the power of the Holy Spirit he became incarnate from the Virgin Mary, and was made man. 7

On Sundays when we do not celebrate the Sacrament of Communion, we thank God for the gift of the Word which we have received.
