OUR AFFIRMATION OF FAITH I believe in God, the maker of Heaven and Earth, the ruler and preserver of our lives. I believe in Jesus Christ, the Son of God, my Lord, and Savior. ~ About Our Messenger ~ REVEREND KENRIC CONWAY Retired Pastor Family of God Baptist Church- Panama City, FL Director of Evangelism- Mt. Vernon Baptist Church Westwood Reverend Kenric R. Conway is married to the beautiful Evelyn Neal-Conway and they have 5 wonderful sons. He was born in St. Louis, Missouri in 1955. He attended St. Louis public schools and graduated from Soldan High School in 1974. He was blessed with a Football Scholarship and attended Missouri Southern State University in Joplin, Mo. He received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Social Work, Psychology from Missouri Southern State University, a Master s Degree in Theology from the Mid America Baptist Theological Seminary in Memphis, Tennessee. He is a retired United States Air Force Lieutenant Colonel. Pastor Kenric Conway served as pastor for several dynamic congregations. Most recently he retired as Senior Pastor of Family of God Baptist Church in Panama City, FL after faithfully serving for over 10 years. Under his leadership the church grew spiritually, numerically, and financially. Many souls were saved and added to the church family. By the time Pastor Conway left The Family of God Baptist Church had two fully functioning vibrant locations, purchased additional property for ministry and was completely debt free. Pastor Conway is a KINGDOM FOCUSED pastor! Reverend Conway has a plethora of clinical, pastoral, academic and leadership experience which spans over 40 years. He is an Adjunct Professor at the Baptist College of Florida. He has served in over twenty different countries, including: England, France, Germany, Italy, Panama, and Australia. For several years he served as a faculty member at Baylor University in Waco, Texas teaching and counseling over 300 student athletes. Previous assignments include Director of Chaplains at the Veteran s Administration Medical Center, Memphis, Tennessee, and Director of Chaplain Service, Veterans Administration Medical Center, San Diego, California. Since his return to Memphis, he has reunited with Mt. Vernon Baptist Church and is working diligently in the ministry. He currently serves as a Wednesday Night Bible Study instructor, Director of Evangelism, and Church Revitalization Core Team Leader. We are blessed and happy to have Rev. Kenric Conway as our Annual Men s Day speaker.
