Thanksgiving Service: The Thanksgiving Community Service take place this evening at 6:00 PM here at Mount Hope. We will worship together with area churches in our sanctuary. Following the service we will fellowship together around food in the new fellowship hall. Come be a part of this special time in the life of our community. Reminder for Friends & Neighbors who signed up for the trip to visit the Billy Graham Museum. The trip is this Tuesday, November 20. We will leave the church at 8:00 a.m. and stop for a breakfast biscuit on the way, then return in late afternoon after our tour and lunch. November is also when we collect Toys for Kids

We will be decorating on Monday, November 26th. We will start out with an informal dinner in the breezeway starting at 6:00 p.m. followed by decorating at 6:30. Please plan on attending!! It's always a wonderful way to start the Christmas season!! Church-wide Christmas Caroling: The church will be caroling to our homebound members on Sunday, December 16. We will meet at the church at 3:00 pm in the Old Fellowship Hall. Wear your warm clothes and your favorite festive hat. It has quickly become the participant s favorite time of the year. P.S. You don t have to believe that you can sing to be a part of this meaningful afternoon of fellowship and care. Poinsettia Fund: Due to the overwhelming success of our change in tradition in 2013, we are not going to order poinsettias again this year but are going to give you an opportunity to donate money in memory or in honor of your loved ones. The funds collected and placed in the Poinsettia Fund will be divided between Urban Ministry and the Meals4Kids Mission. An insert will be placed in the bulletin on Sunday, December 23 rd, listing the names of the memorials and honorees. Instead of purchasing a poinsettia, we hope you will donate $10 towards this worthy cause. Please turn in your donations and completed forms to the office or place in the offering plate by Sunday, December 16 th. You will find the form inserted in your bulletin today.
