Many thanks to you all for your help and putting up with me all these years. Having seen some of Bill s work, I am sure he will do a great job and bring some good new ideas to the job. While going through some of my records, I came across some data, which at least was interesting to me. Chapter Trivia Speaking of dues, 30 persons (only) have paid their dues for 2011. Dues at $20 a year are a bargain. When I started this job the dues were $12/year. In 2002 they went up to $18/year. Then in 2005 they were raised to $20/year, where they have stayed for 6 years. I hope the 30 paid up members are not all there is. Membership has been pretty steady through the years. Year Members 2004 48 2005 56 2006 52 2007 56 2008 58 2009 54 2010 50 Speaking of the Chapter Challenge, Tom Schottle started the concept in 2005, with the 2006 Challenge Year Topic 2006 "Put a Lid on it"

2007 "Multi piece Vessel" 2008 "Rolling Pins" 2009 "Hollowforms" 2010 "Christmas Tree Ornaments" 2011 "Pens" Did you realize that our new batch of officers are all fairly new to the club, so we have some "new Blood". Here are number of years which they have been members. President John Sheets 5 th year Vice Pres. Byron Young 7 th year Secretary Bill Sands 2 nd year Treasurer John Gregor 2 nd year Finally, speaking of officers In 2000 and 2001 In 2002 and 2003 In 2004 and 2005 In 2006 through 2010 Jim Morrison was president, Clarence Clarkson was vice president, Carl Mercer was Treasurer, I was Secretary, and Roy Revel was librarian.
