Baptismal classes are held once every month. The pastor celebrates baptisms once per month on Saturday at 10:00 AM. and those interested in becoming parishioners. The pastor should be contacted 9-12 months before the wedding date. The pastor should be contacted immediately after the death of a loved one. Funeral plans should be discussed with the pastor prior to making final arrangements at the funeral home.

Join us on Sunday, October 21, 2018 9:00 10:15 Boumans Hall, Assembly Room For A lesson on Suffering and the Gospel of Prosperity Two of our St. Mary parishioners, Deacon Michael Crain and Mary Gretchen Guillot, will be talking about the erroneous teaching of the prosperity gospel and how it affects our understanding of suffering. Mary Gretchen will take us through the Book of Job to present to us what the OT teaches about suffering. Deacon Michael will then present to us what we, as Catholics, believe about suffering. These presentations are based on a video by Bishop Robert Barron entitled, The Prosperity Gospel Please join us. All are welcome. The lesson will end in time for anyone who wishes to attend the 10:30 mass to be able to do so.

FAMILY FUN FEST The annual Family Fun Fest is Sunday, October 28, from 10:30-2:00, at the St. Mary Oaks property, across the street from the church. Free food, desserts, prizes and activities for all ages! This year we will have Bingo, Cakewalk, Fun Jumps, Sports throw, Goldfish Toss, Face Painting, Train rides, Pony rides, Ranch style Petting Zoo, and a Talent Contest! The grand prize will be given away at 2:00 PM and you must be present to win. Mark your calendar! You won t want to miss this wonderful parish event-- time to enjoy the day with family, friends and parishioners. LITURGY LITURGICAL MINISTERS SCHEDULE All Liturgical Ministers are reminded to send in their unavailable dates for November & December to Deborah at deb58@cox.net or call 981-3379 ext. 250, by Monday, October 22. VOLUNTEERS NEEDED St. Mary is always in need of more Liturgical Ministers. You may volunteer at any time. Volunteer forms may be found at the front entrances of the church. COMMUNITY SERVICE 2 ND COLLECTION WORLD MISSION SUNDAY The 2 nd collection for World Missions will be next weekend, October 20-21. Raise your voice this World Mission Sunday by supporting the priests, religious Sisters and Brothers, and lay catechists who provide loving service to those most in need. ROSARY AND NOVENA The rosary is recited at St. Mary every Friday morning before the 7:00 AM Mass. Novena to the Blessed Virgin Mary is recited on Thursdays after the 7:00 AM Mass. LIGHTHOUSE CATHOLIC MEDIA New CD s are available from wellknown Catholic presenters. The CD s are located in the kiosk in the Vestibule of our Church. Your donations for the CD s will keep this kiosk open. HEALING HEARTS Healing Hearts is a Catholic support group for women, whose relationships have been negatively impacted by the pornography addiction or sexual addiction of a loved one. Meetings are held on a weekly basis. Call 404-6113 for more information and respond to the prompting.
