Join us on Sunday, October 21, 2018 9:00 10:15 Boumans Hall, Assembly Room For A lesson on Suffering and the Gospel of Prosperity Two of our St. Mary parishioners, Deacon Michael Crain and Mary Gretchen Guillot, will be talking about the erroneous teaching of the prosperity gospel and how it affects our understanding of suffering. Mary Gretchen will take us through the Book of Job to present to us what the OT teaches about suffering. Deacon Michael will then present to us what we, as Catholics, believe about suffering. These presentations are based on a video by Bishop Robert Barron entitled, The Prosperity Gospel Please join us. All are welcome. The lesson will end in time for anyone who wishes to attend the 10:30 mass to be able to do so.
FAMILY FUN FEST The annual Family Fun Fest is Sunday, October 28, from 10:30-2:00, at the St. Mary Oaks property, across the street from the church. Free food, desserts, prizes and activities for all ages! This year we will have Bingo, Cakewalk, Fun Jumps, Sports throw, Goldfish Toss, Face Painting, Train rides, Pony rides, Ranch style Petting Zoo, and a Talent Contest! The grand prize will be given away at 2:00 PM and you must be present to win. Mark your calendar!
