DO NOT COPY, GIVE AWAY OR POST THIS INFORMATION OUTSIDE ELIM RYEDALE CHURCH. This is sensitive information and so names have been replaced with initials and places. Dear praying friends and family, For our church each Sunday, after a time of worship and prayer, we hold Discovery Bible studies- we study a passage of the Word, retell the story, share what has touched our hearts, and commit to put into practice what we have learned. The attached pictures are of our church at the Jam Tan centre: womens' church, men's church, Sunday School, and 'televised church' a recording of a Bible study for TV. We would like to thank you for all your encouraging emails and your support in various ways. Here is our prayer news for this month: Praise God for the marriage of Yunussa and Haawa, on the 23rd of May. The couple are currently living in the nearest town to us, but are planning to move to the North of Burkina Faso to coordinate mission work there. Pray that they may find the right community to settle in, housing, and that they may be able to find places to do their work to support themselves. Praise God for the birth of a baby girl to Iisa and Debora Dicko, who were recently with us at Jam Tan for the three months' training. Our former accountant, Ko Djerma, and his wife, also have a baby boy. On the 9th of May we closed our quarterly training; we are planning to start another three months training in October. We were able to train 20 Fulani Christians who are 'Discipless who make disciples'. Most of them have gone back to their own Islamic communities to make disciples. Pray that they may remain in Christ despite pressures from the community to return to Islam. We thank God for a young lady who has started helping us recently- Charlotte runs the shop (general store) at Jam Tan and also oversees and keeps the books for the other five small businesses at Jam Tan centre. Praise God for 30 women who were trained, last month, in storytelling, that is how to make disciples using Bible stories. Pray that they may have the courage to put this training into practice. We are encouraged that most of the young people who were baptised last month have volunteered to help with the children's work on Thursdays and Sundays. The children's work is much more effective with more helpers, and we are grateful to see these young people already committing to Christian service. In our past emails we mentioned an Islamic threat to reconvert all Fulani Christians to Islam. We are

sad to say that M., musician, children's worker and church planter, fell back to Islam at the beginning of this month. We have been visiting him, pray that he may return to Christ. We have a wonderful opportunity to make a series of 52 recordings for TV of Discovery Bible Studies in Fulfulde. This is a recording of a group Bible study (see attached picture). This series is being sponsored by IBRA radio. Pleasee pray for the dates 25th to 28th of June, when we will be doing an intensive recording of 15 messages. Pray for Boureima as he takes part this month in meetings in Turkey and Senegal, that God would give him wisdom as he takes part in decisions regarding reaching out to cousins. Pray for a two day football training camp for young people, to be run by a team working with Ambassadors in Sport, taking place at the Jam Tann centre on the 12th and 13th of June. Pray that the young people taking part will become disciples. Thank you for your prayers, God bless you, Boureima and Susanna Diallo Prayer points, where does one start... In the small community that we have up here relationship is the key to sharing our faith; the biggest prayer topic is that the Holy Spirit would open doors amongst the neighbours, and non Christian friends we have to share about Jesus. We are half way through an EE course and the aim is to use this in the autumn to reach out into the community. Even in this small community there are lonely people, suicide is rather high, drugs brought through the internet and a general lack of awareness of the need for God are some of the issues we face here. Sweden has been called the most hedonistic country in the world. I belong to a small church here, about 30 active Christians and our main question is how do we reach out to a community that doesn t realise they need Jesus. I run a bible study every Monday night, a mix of immigrants and Swedes, all with a longing to delve deeper into God s word. It gets rather exciting at times when you see the penny drop and understanding dawns, we going through Romans at the moment and this brings up interesting discussions. A general prayer point is the lack of teachers and pastors up here. The denomination I attend up here has 32 churches in Norrland (about the size of the UK, but 500,000 in habitants) but only 14 pastors, and the distances needed to travel are immense.

Pray for the youth Cafe I run, we have a neat group of young people but would like to see it grow., We are having a group of ladies coming from Elim s Finchley Chinese church in September pray for their visit and that God open doors through them. Pray for our well being, safety as I work on the roof, (often alone) The last month has been a tough one and it seems God will stop at nothing to get our attention when we think we can fix ourselves and just 'keep on keep onning!' (Sorry I know that's not a real word but I hope you know what I mean.) Almost three weeks ago, travelling at over 50 miles an hour we ran our pick -up into a runaway bull that literally leaped into our path. The bull was killed instantly, our 'just serviced and just repaired' pick up will be re-fixed eventually and Terry and I were completely free from any injury... However, it, together with a seriess of general health issues, was a pointer to the fact that we were on the verge of running on 'empty.' But God is good and his timing is always perfect - We had just received visitors from Elim Paisley, headed up by their pastor Tom Paton, so this event was immediately followed by some really important ministry, healing and restoration that both Terry and I were greatly in need of... though, to be honest, it probably neededd the presence of a pastor to get us to admit it! Being stuck in Nairobi for a few days we are recognising that the work Tom started is just the beginning of a process to put us back where we need to be... daily being filled with God... especially being filled with His love. To be honest, the work that we had loved when we first knew God's love for us and for our own family, now has the capacity to grind us down and break us down... so thank you for directing us to 3:19... we've just read the whole chapter and are especially encouraged again by all in the verses 16-21. We have a friend in Sheffield who helps to put our prayer needs together in a weekly email... I will attach copies of the last two... they do tend to sometimes be rather long... but if you are happy to receive more then I will ask him to add your email address from now on. Please thank your pray-ers... we know that without faithful pray-ers we would very quickly be overwhelmed and defeated in all that we long to do with Him and for His children... God Bless, Judi and Terry Mott Thanks Andy...that's such a huge encouragement. Yesterday we were travelling a 71/2 hour bus journey from our place to Nairobi chasing up the ever 'elusive' work permits. Today we discovered that it's all still in the system and we need to go back to their office on Friday.

Elim Missions Team Malvern With regards to the Elim Missions team - David Tinnion, Elim Global Coordinator, had nerve paralysis in one of his eyes, last month whilst in Romania. His eye is still paralysed and we are really praying that it will be fully healed and would open again. Linda Murray, our fundraiser, just 2 weeks ago had a car accident - she is fine, just bruised but bu no doubt would appreciate prayers as it was a scary experience. Paul Hudson, Missions Director, regularly visits churches around the UK sharing the vision of Elim Missions to churches to build support from Elim members. m He is at Bethel Church, Oldbury this coming Sunday. This week we have Paul Agyei starting as a volunteer in the office for two half days. This is really amazing support for us as we are only a small team. Please pray that he will feel part of the team as he is going to be such a blessing ing to us. Dearest Elim Ryedale! Pastor Andy messaged me about your month of prayer - THANK YOU! You can find out more about us at http://robinsonta.org. We are currently on Furlough in the UK and would really value prayers for - Wisdom regarding the length of our next term in Nigeria. - Good God centred conversations as we meet lots of new people in different churches around the country. - The translated word w of God would have an impact on the lives of the people who have access to it for the first time in Nigeria. Howard and Sue lead the Elim Church in Benalmadena, Spain. http://www.elimfamilyfellowship.com/ Here are some prayer points That the presence of God continues congregation and our meetings. There is and outreach in the town on the 30 th June with a group from the UK called no more music. Please pray that the door that we have opened to have outdoor meetings will not be closed but that the group will be sensitive and a great harvest will result. That our TV and radio broadcasts will continues to encourage and touch peoplee with the love of God. We are on Revelation TV, the Gospel channel on the sky satélite and talk Radio Europe throughout spain and via the internet world wide. Pray for streangth for Howard and Sue as howard is working six nights a week and grows in the Also for our council as they have just had an election and no one has a majority. We have personal contact with quite a few of the Councillors but we hope that any changes will not break the relationship we have built up with the council. That God will show us how to reach the people that sit at the bars that surround the church. Here is a brief history and update on the churches in Girona:- We have now been in Spain for nearly 20 years, first of working on a National Basis and assisting and establishing Elim as a Legally registered denomination in Spain. Then in 2000 we took on the leadership of the Girona church, which had at that time some 25 members and were meeting in the 3 rd floor of an office block! The congregation grew and we moved on to rent a converted shop, - and the congregation continued to grow which meant we needed further space. We were given free use of a disused restaurant (we had to clean it first - 20 years of grease etc!!) and then hired a further shop for the Sunday School work. We went into 2 services which did not bless the neighbours in the apartments above as we started before 9:000 am on a Sunday morning! Also with temperature in the region of 40º outside it was a question of coming to church and having a free Sauna. However God has been good and in 2008 we found 2 brand new warehouses on the edge of town (some 1,800 sq m) it was just bare walls, no floor, electricity or anything, but as a leadership we really felt God challenging us to look to the future as to what he wanted to do in our midst. In 2209, we moved in, and we still have a lot of building work to do as finance permits. (our rent currently is 4,700 a month! And that is without all the extras electricity insurance etc,!)

We have a main sanctuary that seats 350, a nursery for children on Sundays, youth rooms and also offices as appropriate. At the moment we are just finishing a kitchen area to enable us to provide meals after church on Sunday mornings and working on Sunday School rooms so you can see life is never dull! On Sunday now we average around 200 with children, a multicultural congregation with some 14 nationalities Spanish speaking. Worthy of note is that we have in the past few years planted 2 churches in Palafrugell and St Feliu de Guixols. (both with Sunday attendance of around 50-60) Also we have two Spanish missionaries working in Honduras running a day nursery (some 80 children) and a first grade school. So here are prayer points: Discipleship: In May there was a Festival of Esperanza (hope) in Barcelona and we sent 4 coaches to the event. We have now received the follow up cards and we have some 45 people to follow up (with a further 20 in St Feliu). This Saturday 13 th we have the first part of the discipleship course being held in the church. Please pray that we willl fulfil the great commission and see real fruit and disciples coming to a meaningful relationship with the Lord. Food Bank We are operating a food bank in the church and every month we are supporting some 50-60 families, many of whom are outside the church. Our prayer and desire is that these people will come to faith in Christ. As you can imagine there is a considerable amount of admin and logistics involved in this ministry (last weekend we received some 2500 Kgs of food etc from a supermarket in the town. ) Baptisms We have a baptismal service on the 21 st and have 8 candidates, this is our 2 nd this year, fortunately we have been able to obtain a portable swimming pool and are able to set it up in the church. Pleas pray for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit on the meeting. Co-Pastor For financial provision for the much needed and recently appointed our youth leader as Co-pastor, Jimmy (aged 35). He has the call of God on His life and certainly has an anointed ministry. Finance Pray too that, as a church we will continue to know God s provision for all that we seek to do and for the building work. Many times at the end of the month we trust in God to supply the funds for the next month s rent BUT God has never let us down.
