RECAP These are paired and separated into 3 groups 1. Personal Encounter Repentance and faith are the two first principles necessary to have a relational encounter with God. 2. Personal Empowerment Baptisms & Laying of Hands are the next two principles necessary for empowering and equipping us for our ordained purpose 3. Personal Expectation These last 3 principles meet our greatest expectation as Christians which is to be with our Lord and Savior at the end of this life because it is our greatest promise & reward.
Things to remember: 1. We are under RECONSTRUCTION/REDEVELOPMENT and have put on the new self. This is the new being which God, its Creator, is constantly renewing in his own image, in order to bring you to a full knowledge of himself. Col3:10(TEV) 2. We are under a New Owner For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God s. 1Cor 6:20 3. As the Holy Spirit Re-Builds, My part is to Yield Unless the LORD builds the house, its builders labor in vain. Ps 127:1
There are 4 Major Areas that we must allow the Holy Spirit to Redevelop The Heart I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. Ezk 36:26 The Spirit Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me. Ps 51:10
There are 4 Major Areas that we must allow the Holy Spirit to Redevelop The Mind..and be renewed in the spirit of your mind.. Eph 4:23 The Flesh Never offer any part of your body to sin s power. No part of your body should ever be used to do any ungodly thing. Instead, offer yourselves to God as people who have come back from death and are now alive. Offer all the parts of your body to God. Use them to do everything that God approves of. Rom 6:13(GW)
A.What Must Go? We must allow the Holy Spirit to assess what MUST BE TORN OUT. WHAT MUST GO! We use our powerful God-tools for smashing warped philosophies, tearing down barriers erected against the truth of God, fitting every loose thought and emotion and impulse into the structure of life shaped by Christ. 2Cor 10:5(MSG)
