Any objections or suggestions in regard to these proposals should reach the Secretary, Delimitation Commission, Nirvachan Sadan, Ashoka Road, New Delhi-110001, on or before the said date. (i) (ii) (iii) PROPOSALS The territorial constituencies into which the UT of Pondicherry shall be divided for the purpose of elections to (a) the Legislative Assembly of the UT, and (b) the House of the People, the extent of each such constituency and the constituencies in which the seats are reserved for the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes shall be as shown in the Table-A and Table-B respectively. Where the name of a constituency as shown in Table A or Table B is distinguished by the brackets and letters (SC), the seat in that constituency is reserved for the Scheduled Castes; and Where the name of a constituency as shown in Table-A or Table-B is distinguished by the brackets and letters (ST), the seat in that constituency is reserved for the Scheduled Tribes. With a view to giving widest publicity to its proposals and to ensure that copies of the same are made easily available to the public for their reference, the Commission desires that copies of Order and Notification mentioned above and the NOTICE may be got published in two vernacular Newspapers in the State. The matter should also be given publicity on radio, television and through other media of mass communication.
