1 SID: My guest prayed for someone born with no eyes and witnesses saw the eyeballs materialize. Can ancient secrets of the supernatural be rediscovered? Do angels exist? Is there life after death? Join Sid on this edition of It s Supernatural. SID: Hello. Sid Roth here. Welcome to my world where it s naturally supernatural. My guest [Mel Bond] had a visitation from Jesus in which the Messiah taught him how to pray, a very, very special way, a biblical way. And now he s seeing the dead raised, the blind getting their site, the deaf hearing, people confined to wheelchairs standing up, people who s faces are deformed, it s being restored. As a matter of fact we have several eyewitnesses about an eye incident in Nicaragua, Mel. I mean, this is still hard for me to comprehend. But tell me what happened. MEL: In January of the year 2000, I was doing an outdoor crusade in the middle of the street in Chinandega, Nicaragua. And what really makes this valid is there were about 12 other ministries from the United States that was with me. They sat on a platform, so they saw this. Eddie Rogers was there. You had interviewed him earlier. Another real good valid ministry is Gary Medder, who is a founder, president of Rhema Bible College in Costa Rica, and he was my interpreter. So he stood, oh I guess he was only maybe two feet from me. And the little girl that was about six or seven, she stood maybe three feet in front of me, and her mother stood to the side. SID: What was wrong with the girl? MEL: Well she was apparently born, from what the mother said, I can t speak Spanish that well to understand all the intricate details, but I see this every now and then in third world countries, that her eye sockets were filled, it looked like a lumpy glistened fat, white, just fat. No eyes. SID: No pupil. MEL: No eyeball. No resemblance of an eyeball. It just looked like gummy fat that would just hang out of the eye socket. And so anyway, I had prayed for two other ladies that were totally blind and there was people we brought, I like to bring people on the platform because I m convinced that we re living in a time that we need demonstration of God s power, not just excellency of speech. And so I like to bring people on the platform so the people can see. And so that s what we did. We demonstrated two ladies that were totally blind and they received their site. So this mother comes and we were out on the main town square, and there was probably 3,000, 3500 people, something like that there. And this lady comes working her way up on the platform, crying, and she pushed her way through, and she says, Can your god heal my daughter? And so I looked at her eyes and I told her, Of course. Of course my God can. Now the truth of the matter is I have prayed for people like that in other third world countries and I can remember one particular time in India that they saw. I looked in the eye and it didn t look any different, and they began to see. And so anyway, I m convinced all things are possible with God. And so I prayed with my whole heart the way that Jesus taught me and I closed my eyes
2 and I prayed so I can focus more. And while I was praying, Gary Medder told me this, he says while I was praying, he says, It was like two tornadoes over each eye. And then when I stopped praying the tornadoes were gone and there were two beautiful brown eyes. And just to be real honest, when I had seen the little girl, I m thinking, why would anybody pull this kind of trick on me? In this kind of place, serious setting and bring another little girl because she looked so different. She had beautiful brown eyes. SID: Well see, you have to understand this. Mel closes his eyes when he prays. So he didn t see it happen. He actually thought someone switched little girls on him. But we have an eyewitness and this eyewitness actually kept his eyes open. He s Pastor Eddie Rogers, who s been a guest on It s Supernatural. Let s take a look at what he saw. Eddie Rogers: There are some things that you have to stop and think about that happened in your past. But this is something that is so firmly etched in my memory that I ll never forget it. I remember the sounds, the smells. I remember the heat. Four thousand people gathered in a little square of a Nicaraguan city. There s ash that s raining down from a volcano about 10 miles away and it s hot. These people have been there four or five hours. And Mel asked the pastors to go out into the audience and bring up the most difficult cases. And I m on the platform with him, and they bring up this little girl, six years old. She s been born blind. It s just her eyes are just totally white and her mother is holding her. Mel brings her up and he asks everybody to bow their head and close their eyes. And I m thinking if anything happens here I m gonna be the one that s gonna see it. I m not bowing my head, irreverently speaking. And he stuck his hand toward the girl and began to pray. And what I observed was that in the whites of her eyes it was like two whirlpools beginning to spin and turn. And I don t know how long it lasted, maybe 60 seconds, maybe 90 seconds. But at the end of that these two beautiful brown eyes just popped and she began to look around and see the lights. The thing that tore me up the most was the fact that when this little girl turned and saw her mother for the very first time in her entire life, and the mother is just weeping, and I m over there weeping as well. And it was the most incredible moving miracle that I have ever seen in my entire life. SID: Needless to say, the crowd went wild, didn t they Mel? MEL: That s right. Absolutely. SID: And then because of the great miracles that were happening, some parents brought a dead child. What happened? MEL: Well they laid the child on the platform. It was a little boy and he was dead. And they said he was dead. They said they had taken him to the doctor. The doctor said he s dead. He looked dead, you know. So they asked me if I would pray. So I did pray. And the real truth of the matter is after I prayed he didn t rise up immediately. But I believe that I am convinced that the Word of God is true. That once we release the anointing of God we ve got to have confidence that it has gone forth. And then I went ahead and started preaching. And it wasn t within, my goodness, it couldn t have been more than four minutes and the little boy got up and started walking. That s when the crowd come undone.
3 SID: Well listen, you re getting me undone on what you re saying. I don t know about you, but he s gonna tell about a woman that had an ileostomy bag. You know, that s when your body isn t working properly and the waste goes into the bag. Not only was she ill, the bag disappeared. I got the article about it right here. And Mel Bond had a visitation in 1984 from Jesus. And Jesus showed him a very specific way to pray, and he s been praying that way and seeing the most outstanding miracles. And just as we went to break I was telling you about this article of a woman who had an ileostomy bag. Tell me about this woman. MEL: Okay. To make a long story short, she had this ileostomy bag, which is a bag that carries human waste. It s sort of a plastic bag. And I was praying for people in this miracle service at our church there in Winslow, Missouri. So she came forward and one of the business ladies in the community that didn t believe in miracles, her name was Tina, and she brought this lady, and so she came forward. And she had one leg that was about this much shorter than the other one. She had knots all up and down her back bone, scoliosis of the spine. I remember laying my hand on her back and feeling those large knots about half the size of a golf ball up and down her back bone. And of course her spinal column was pretty crooked. So I just prayed like Jesus told me to. And I want to interject this real quickly that I m not a special, any more special than anybody else. Jesus said in Mark, Chapter 16, These signs shall follow them that believe. And that s one of the major reasons I m on here. I want the whole world to be electrified, all the church world to be electrified. SID: It s time, isn t it? MEL: Yes, absolutely, with the anointing of God to where the purpose is to win the lost. And so as we re all doing the miracles then that s-- SID: We re gonna drive the devil nuts when we re all walking in miracles. SID: So tell me about this woman. MEL: Okay. So in essence I prayed for her and I mean within moments her leg just went like this, just that quickly. And her spinal column stretched out, straightened out. The knots disappeared. The lady stood up. And we had her legs sitting on her chairs, and I didn t touch her legs because I didn t want anybody to think there s anything shady going on. I just speak the Word. The Word of God, Romans:116. And so then she got up and she was excited. She started dancing because she felt so good, and she was shouting. And all of a sudden this other
4 Tina lady, that was a business lady, very dignified, and she came up, and I heard her whisper to her. And I didn t hear what was going on, and I was praying for other people. And so they left. But what she said, she says, Tina, I can t find my bag. It s gone. And she says, We re gonna have a mess. Go back to the women s bathroom with me and help me clean this mess up. So she went back in the ladies bathroom and she removed her clothing, and the bag was gone. Her rectum had been sewed up for 10 years. It was open. SID: No. Really. MEL: It was open. SID: I mean, I believe in miracles, but you re stretching it a little bit. MEL: There s just nothing, I mean, God hasn t changed. He made the sun and the moon stand still, the Red Sea to open. That s the kind of God we serve. SID: But there was something that was life changing for you that happened in 1984. SID: Tell me about that. MEL: September the 28th, 1984 was on a Friday evening. Jesus appeared to me and explained to me how to release his anointing. This is the only thing he said. He says, Mel. And I can go in detail about the whole thing for an hour. SID: You do that in the book. Go ahead. MEL: So anyway he just told me, he says, Mel, he says, if you will learn to pray with your whole heart, my anointing, no matter what it needs to be done, my anointing will always go into people. And then when he said that, that s all he said. SID: So the key is praying with your whole heart. MEL: Pray with your whole heart. That s it. That s it. SID: But then you had some signs. MEL: Well he said, This lady, her name was Maureen from O Fallon, Missouri. SID: Did he tell you her name? MEL: Yes. And he said, She will be there Sunday morning. And she was a visitor. She might have been there one other service. I can t really remember. But he said, She will be there. And he told me what was wrong with her. It was a female problem. He says, Now if you pray with
5 your whole heart she ll be instantly healed. And so it was real easy. When Sunday morning rolled around I just practiced what Jesus told me and, pow, and she s been healed ever since. SID: Well Mel, you ve had so many miracles. My problem is trying to figure out which one. How about the, I mean this is so well documented, the Calypso Queen of Guiana. MEL: Okay. I was in the country of Guiana in South America. In fact, if people want to contact Pastor Filbert London, he was the pastor that set this up, and he s still in Guiana. You can find him on the website real easy. And so I was praying for blind people. And so I prayed for her. She was totally blind and she received her site. It was quite miraculous. I prayed for her like I do everybody else. And then the crowd started yelling, Our queen can see! Our queen can see! And I m looking around and it s her. And the very next morning the news media had gotten a hold of me immediately, and I was the first one on the agenda to be on their national news. And they said, We want to know how you re able to do such things. And I told them, I says, First of all I want to tell you that there s a greater miracle and everybody in the viewing audience can have this greater miracle, and that greater miracle is you can have eternal life. And that gave me the platform, signs and wonders gives you the platform to tell people about Jesus. And I told them if they except Jesus Christ as their lord and savior that they ll be born again, have a splendid life on this earth, and live eternally in Heaven. And that gave me the platform to do that. And I told them, Of course. This is how I was able to do that because of the name of Jesus that s above every name. SID: The way you have learned to pray with your whole heart, I want to talk about that when we come. Be back right after this word. Mel, tell me about this woman in Switzerland that you prayed with your whole heart for. MEL: Okay. She s basically right around 33, 34 years of age, born without hearing or speech. Never heard an ounce in her life. And I just simply prayed with her whole heart and God opened up her hearing immediately and she started speaking. And I think you have a video of that. SID: Let s take a look now. MEL: Okay. [begin video] MEL: Now we command healing and recreation in her ears to take place. Female: [foreign language] MEL: There it is. God anointing right there.
6 Female: [foreign language] MEL: She heard nothing before. [cheers, applause] [end video] SID: Now that was deaf, not being able to speak. Tell me about the girl in Mexico that was blind in one eye. MEL: Okay. This happened up in the mountains in Mexico. And a friend of mine, Pastor George Corello, he set it up, a meeting way up in the mountains. And there was a little girl, probably maybe 10 or 11 years of age, and she was blind in one eye. And not only blind, but her face was deformed. The eye socket and the eyeball that was there was down probably at least maybe an inch lower than the other eye. And so her face was just twisted. But you know what? God gives glory when people are blessed and when the miraculous comes on the seen that no other God, no other entity, no other power can do. And God not only opened her eye where she had perfect vision, but her face, I watched her face be rearranged and be recreated by the power of God. SID: Now you teach people how to pray with their whole heart. SID: But tell me about that medical doctor you taught that then prayed for a patient. MEL: I d like to say I taught him. He just bought the book. SID: Okay. MEL: He bought the book and he said he read it, and he said, I want to try it. And so he s a heart surgeon from Kansas. And he bought the book. And so a guy comes in and he told him, he says, Now I can do one of the two things. He says, I get paid for doing surgery, and back in those years he says, it s gonna cost you about $45,000. He says, Or I can pray for you and God s power will heal you and that s free, and no surgery, no scars, no bills. And so the guy says, I ll take the free one. And so he prayed for him. And he came to our church, showed the X-rays in front of our whole congregation and told the story. The man was miraculously healed, got a brand new heart and didn t need the surgery. SID: Well you know, I meet many people that pray for the sick with their whole heart and many people get healed. However, I find in their own lives they have a lot of problems and they pray, and they don t get healed. Tell me about your sphincter muscle. It literally wasn t working. I went to the doctor. I m a human like everybody else. The devil attacks me, probably you and I more than most people because of being a great target for the devil, and being a blessing to God s people. So the devil doesn t like that. And so many things have happened like this in my life and my wife. But to this day, I m 59 years of age. I haven t taken any medicine in over 10 years. You don t need it. If I need it I ll take it. If I need a doctor--but anyway, I had this problem where the sphincter muscle was causing a lot of problems, a lot of
7 acid coming into my mouth. And literally it was like having a heart attack. I would fall on the floor. So finally, I was believing God. I thought, man, I need to find out what this is. I went to the doctor and he says, Well this thing is just dead. It doesn t work. There s nothing that can be done. He says, You re gonna have to take this medicine the rest of your life. And I thought that s his opinion, but I ll check with another doctor. His name is Jesus. And so I did. SID: How did he like that? MEL: Well I didn t tell him that. That s what I said. SID: I can picture they way a doctor would react. Go ahead. MEL: But anyway, so I started taking the medicine and things got better. And then I says, okay, now it s time. After a certain period of time, a small amount of time, I says, I m gonna trust God. And so I just took the medicine and I d skip a day. Then I d skip a day in the middle of the week until finally I wasn t taking any. After about a month or two I wasn t taking anything at all. And now it s been over probably at least 10 years, at least. And I don t need it. If I need it I go take it. SID: Did the doctor say you d have to take the medicine forever? MEL: Forever. Well as long as I live. SID: How about members of you family? What about your wife? MEL: My wife, the doctors told her that s she s gonna take thyroid medicine the rest of her life. And so she took the medicine and she did the same thing. And then it was about a year or two that she wasn t taking it, and she went back to the doctor, and the doctor says, You know that medicine I m giving you is working. I ve never seen it work so good. He says, Your thyroid is just working excellent. Everything is excellent. And he says, What kind of medicine did I put you on? She says, I haven t taken any in two years. And she told him the story, I trust in God. SID: Now you have learned how to pray with your whole heart. SID: I believe that you could pray for people right now with your whole heart and whatever is the matter with them God will start performing miracles. MEL: Amen. SID: Would you pray? MEL: Amen. In fact, the spirit of God spoke to me just a little bit earlier and told me this is how He wants me to pray. I ve never prayed this way before. I always pray with my eyes closed. But God told me that He wants to use my eyes and the anointing of God is gonna go out of my eyes.
8 And there s so many people watching this program that we would spend hours trying to name all the different situations. So it doesn t make any difference what your problem is. If it s mental, physical, spiritual, if it s financial, that God hears and God cares, and God hurts when you hurt. And when I pray the anointing of God is going to out of my eyes. So look in my eyes. The anointing of God is going to go into your life and the situation is gonna be changed. You re gonna literally feel the anointing of God, the love of God, the power of God. In Jesus name I take authority over all sicknesses, all diseases, all problems, all problems in Jesus name. And in Jesus name I command you to surrender, yield, relax to God s love, to His miracle working power. If you ll receive it right now, if you ll receive it now start doing something you couldn t do before and you ll know that God loves you and has great things for you. God is gonna be glorified and you re gonna be blessed. SID: Now one thing I find interesting is when you pray for people you tell them to relax. Now sometimes when I lay hands on people and pray for them, they re pray. And I tell them, Stop praying. You can t receive and transmit at that time. MEL: That s right. Absolutely. James says in James, Chapter 1, that it says, A double-minded person is unstable in all their ways. You can t turn a light off and turn it on at the same time. So there s a time to worship God, a time to praise Him. But there s a time to receive and a time to receive is to be single-minded. That s one of the things Jesus taught me. When you pray with your whole heart that s being single-minded, and when you re single-minded then you can receive. Then after you receive, then it s time to worship and praise God. SID: And praying with your whole heart is not just for physical. It s for every area of your life. You have people in your congregation that pray from the whole heart and they get jobs. They get cars. In other words, praying with your whole heart is the key to having access to Heaven. SID: And you know what else? There is something greater than a blob in your eye being transformed into an eyeball instantaneously, as you heard about in Nicaragua. You know what s greater than that? When you experience the love of God for yourself. MEL: Amen. SID: What is greater than that is when God the Creator of the universe lives inside of you. And if you know God before you die, for sure you ll know God after you die. But if you don t know God before you die, for sure you won t know God after you die. The only way to know God is through the God man, the Messiah, Yeshua, Jesus, who came and died for your sins. If you believe his blood washed away your sins tell him that and thank him that you re clean, and ask him to come and live inside of you and become real. Experience his love. Don t wait another second. This is your moment. You don t know when your end will come. Right now is your moment. With your whole heart to the best of your ability tell Jesus, I make you my Lord right now.
