This is the message we are conveying to all children with the mission education resources offered through The Missionary Childhood Association (MCA). We are teaching your children that we the church are called to action, to participate in the spreading of the Gospel to all corners of the world to strengthen their catholic identity and instill a missionary spirit of love and generosity towards other children in need around the world. MCA teaches this love for our Church s missionary nature to ensure that your child s faith takes root to an authentic and fruitful catholic identity. The MCA is the primary avenue for our Catholic school students to support men and women in our foreign missions who give their lives by enhancing the life and faith of the poorest of the poor in the world. Their goal and motto is Kids Helping Kids. They are striving for us to bring out within the children awareness of the Christ of Charity. Please encourage your child to contribute their personal money to their classroom globe bank. All money raised will be sent to the MCA mission program. Thank you in advance for your support. What we often think is important is not as valuable as our relationship with God. Spending energy maintaining an appearance of a full and happy life but not living one is useless. Doing so is like having two hands that harm versus one doing good. Consider where your family places energy and focus. It matters not that perfection was attained. God s love is what matters. Our focus should be on how we spread that love by extending mercy and forgiveness. On the Way to Mass Can you imagine being without an eye, hand, or foot? What importance do those hold for you? On the Way Home from Mass Have you ever been surprised by someone s kindness? Why did it surprise you?
