Walcha The Call to Worship The Hymn No. 48 Immortal, Invisible, God Only Wise Prayer of Confession Gracious Heavenly Father, not wanting us to be alone, You have given us family and friends to share life with. Yet, so often we have wasted your gifts. As husbands and wives, parents and children, sisters and brothers, our relationships do not reveal a bond of peace. You call us to be patient with each other, but we can be judgmental and demanding. You ask us to be gentle, but we are rough and insensitive. Forgive us, Father. Cause us to turn from habits which are destructive to Christ-centered relationships. In the name of our Lord Jesus, we pray. Silent Prayer *Assurance of Pardon

Bethany Presbyterian Church is sponsoring a new Cub Scout Pack. Join the fun and learn about scouting. Interested families may call at the church office. Here is a testimonial from Max Nagy on Scouting: Bethany Presbyterian Church can benefit from a Cub Scout Pack because it will benefit the church, the community, and the boys in the Pack. They will learn important skills for life while having fun. For information please call the church office at 412-221-5132 We are looking for someone to assist the Stewardship Team in defining a multichannel communication approach for Bethany Presbyterian Church. We recognize that people like to receive information and updates in different ways mail, social media, video, in person, etc. We have lots of great news happening at Bethany every day and want a way to share these blessings. If you are a Communications Major home for the summer or maybe a stay-at-home parent that has experience in this area, we are looking for your expertise to help us identify and build this program. This would be a great resume builder for a college student or a fun project for someone that has time to commit. Interested individuals should contact Pastor John Hamilton hamilton@bethanypresby.org or Barb Mours at barbara.mours@fisglobal.com for more details.
