Mission Work South Africa 2016 January 2016 Volume 5 Issue 1 TO OUR WONDERFUL SUPPORTERS THANKSFOR ALL Dear Family in Christ Jesus. We greet you all in the Name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Our prayer is that all is well. May our Lord God continue to bless you, your family and His work. We thank God for your generous gifts to Reiger Park Church of Christ and are thankful for your continuous support. The building project work has started again last week and we had the engineer inspector Thursday, January 28 to inspect the work. He has agreed that the steel work was right and only recommended a few extra additions which was done today. He will check it again next week and Lord willing approval will be issued for us to complete the concrete layout for the support beams. Please keep praying for the work as we still did not reach our goal as yet for the completion process. Our hope is to complete at least the first part of the building by mid March 2016 and start worshipping in the building by then. The focus is on the Slab, windows and plastering in the meantime. The tent is deteriorating fast and is tearing quickly. We have fixed it about four times last year. It is becoming expensive to fix and we would rather like to use the money to continue with the building project. The building cost is increasing rapidly and we have a recent increase in January 2016. Our estimate for the completion of the building is still projected as $ 79,500. This includes the $25,000 for the middle floor slab. We have receive funds during December & January from Magnolia Park church of Christ, Br Elbert Young & family and from Uncle James Ford. The total received was $4,500. We are thankful for that and thank God for their generous gift. This means that for us to complete phase 4 we have a shortfall of about $21,000. Our earnest request to you and hope is to help us to raise the funds and even give if you are able to do so. Any amount will make a difference. It is the end result that will be achieved no matter how small. We really appreciate all you are doing and have been doing over the years. A Big thank you again to all who have give in the pass, who are yet to make commitments and once of donations. We thank God for you. I have started my studies at the Bible College already and are really excited to learn. The college is not far from our home and I am still able to be involved in the building project. We also have Br Benedict Adams and Br Freddy Petersen to overseer and help managed the process at the moment. They are doing a good work thus far. We thank God for them. May God bless you continually and allow you to continue to be involve in the work at Reiger Park Church of Christ. Much love and appreciation, Vincent 'One man can make a difference'

C O M SOUTH AFRICA MISSION TRIP 2015 REPORT We thank God for each of you who have made a sacrifice to do the work in South Africa with the Reiger Park congregation. The mission team performed a good work for the people of South Africa. Our team was a group of seven. The medical team did an excellent job of providing medical care. The children s VBS program was needed and provided an opportunity for the children to learn more bible lessons. Bro Thomas Hines, Minister from Detroit, MI and Bro Theo Scullard, Minister from Cape Town, S.A. did an excellent job of preaching and teaching Restoration in Christ. The mission work was an encouragement for the people in South Africa to continue in the work that God has given to them in restoring Christ in every home so that the church will flourish in the coming years and be a huge impact on the community of Reiger Park. Please continue to keep this work and the people of South Africa in your prayers. We are working this year to complete the building. God blessed us last year with completion of phase 3 and brought us half way. We serve a God that does not do half way work but finishes with excellence and for His glory. May God be Glorified as He equips us with His resources to complete the work this year. The church is needed in the community because the people are suffering without a building for the elderly and the children to function in. The winter s get cold and the tent is not sufficient to meet the needs of the elderly and small children. We have a work to do and we need all the help we can get to help our brothers and sisters to grow up in Christ Jesus in a place where God can be glorified for his blessings of a building to come into for worship and serve the community. Please let us push forward to completion because we can do this with the Lord s help. We only need $75,000 to complete this work.!! The dates for the medical/evangelistic mission work has not been set but it will be a 12 day mission trip with the purpose of bringing mission minded servants to work, serve, and encourage the hearts of the South African people by demonstrating the gospel truth so that souls may be saved. Cost - $2000.00 per person - Deposit required $100 If you have any questions or concerns regarding your travel plans, or to discuss credit card payments or other payment options, please feel free to contact Linda Brown via email at linda@missionmindedcharitabletrust.com or cell (917) 749-1882.
