The Man Adoni-Bezek 1) His name. A proper noun identifying Adoni-Bezek, a Canaanite king. The name means Lord of Bezek. He was an unjust king towards his conquered people and in the end received poetic justice for these misdeeds (Judg. 1:4-7). He was defeated by Simeonites and Judahites (Judg. 1:4) at Bezek.
