Our Heritage The Spiritual Journey of Peter and 1& 2 Peter * Peter s spiritual journey was full of ups and downs, spiritual progress and failure, faithfulness and betrayal. Jim Mills * In the letters that bear Peter s name in 1&2 Peter, it is easy to see why Jesus named him Rock. Discover what Peter has to tell us about holiness, victorious living in the midst of suffering, false teachers, the coming day of the Lord and much more! David Coltrain End Times: Practical Heavenly Mindedness Paul Stevens We all wonder about the end and all are asking the following questions: When it will come? What it will be like? What will happen to us? The lessons in this will give you a solid overview of what the Bible says about end times-- and it will help you face the future. Defending the Faith: #3fifteen New Young Adult Sunday Class Nick Salazar #3fifteen is a reference to 1 Peter 3:15 which states: But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But so this with gentleness and respect.
Hey GCN Family! Thank you to the GCN choir for the great reminder of why we have the privilege of so many freedoms! The Patriotic Musical was a wonderful tribute to all past and present Military Personnel. As well as all of our Civil Servants. The choir did a beautiful job of paying homage to all of those who have sacrificed so much for our freedom and liberties. Upcoming Events Our students left Monday morning for Louisville, KY! We will be announcing a quiz meeting soon so be watching the ENEWS and Bulletin for more information. Club 52 Members Thank you all for your continued thoughts, prayers, and support! We are excited to report that camp was not only a great time, but a life changing and impactful one as well. The students this year were challenged to learn their story and how to share their story in who they are in Christ. It is actually not the easiest thing to do and let alone have the gumption to share it with someone else. Please join me in prayer for the students who attended to not only be thinking about their story, but to intentionally find ways to share it with others. May we all understand how our story is a continual path that is being written each day through the ways and decisions we are making each day. So our story in Christ is constantly growing and changing we see the world and respond to the world through His eyes and through the power of the Holy Spirit! We would ask that you continue prayiing for the group that is heading to Louisville, KY this Sunday. As they start this journey we pray that their hearts will be open to hearing what God is calling them to be and to do.
Elemental Ministries Hello everyone! Thanks to all who were able to make it out to our last get together! We had a great time fellowshipping and hanging out at the Johnson s. We played a rousing, more complicated version of UNO. It s always fun to be a like a kid again. It can help us to learn and remember to have the faith of a child. We are looking forward to getting together again soon! Love you guys and appreciate you all! Hope work is going well and that you remember Who Christ is and who He is calling you to be in all things! To Life! Pastor Jamie
